I like Cellucor - Cinnamon Swirl. It has 3 grams of carbs.

You totally need to wear that for Halloween. Assassin's Creed is awesome.

Big nerd and dork here. I love video games, sci-fi, anime and cosplaying. For those of you that haven't checked out NerdFitness.com, its a good resource as well as MFP.

^^ THIS THIS THIS Brian did all the work of posting all those helpful links so I don't have to. Welcome!

I work from home. No one ever brings me donuts dammit.

I think you are missing out on an important aspect. You have more energy because you stopped with the low carbs. You need carbs for energy.

LOVE DEADPOOL. This just made my day

Ugh I remember having that problem in the past too when I made an account but I can't remember how I ended up fixing it. I'm sorry its being difficult.

tagging for later

Hello again and welcome to the group! I personally have no experience with body paint so I can be of much use. I sent BomshellPhoenix this link because I think she had some experience with attempting body paint but I can't remember if it went well. Hopefully she will comment on this thread. I also suggest posting at…

LOVE THIS! It's so great that you learned to love yourself, thats the most important thing. Confidence and love shows in cosplaying so that is a bonus. Absolutely love your cosplay. You have a lot of skill, especially for someone who just started. My craftsmanship has been very subpar. Your photographer is also awesome.…

Oh my, looking awesome!

And now the bison chili I'm making for dinner seems like crap. Tagging to make later.

I don't say anything unless they have brought up trying to lose weight or getting healthy to me. If you feel the need to say anything, a simple "looking good" may work but doesn't just target the weight loss.

I second that exercise can help your energy levels. Force yourself to do a higher intensity exercise a few times a week and see how you feel after two or three weeks. I also second the sleep question. Nothing is wrong with caffeine, if you are tired drink more coffee or tea.

I've never rewarded myself directly for weight loss but I've rewarded myself for fitness accomplishments. When I was learning to run I'd aware myself a dollar for every mile I completed during the C25K app. If I completed 2.18 miles during my workout I'd put $2.18 into my savings account. I used this money to get new…

I think both are fine. IIFYM. I don't really care for mayo and rather save the calories for something else. I love peanut butter and find ways to incorporate it into my day multiple times a week.

My boyfriend yelling at his game of Destiny.

I would suggest 40% carbs, 30% fat and 30% protein. That usually works as a good baseline for people to start off with. This link is very helpful in explaining everything. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/819055-setting-your-calorie-and-macro-targets ETA: When looking at macros, it shouldn't matter where the carbs…

It really depends on the type of activity you are doing. If you are doing mostly step exercises then fitbit would work well. If you are doing other exercises like exercise bike, swimming, exercise videos, etc. then you would have to input that exercise into the fitbit website to get a more accurate count. For me personally…

I have to disagree, it gives you more calories for "very active minutes" than active or moderate minutes. If you are walking then you are most likely doing moderate or sometimes active minutes but if you are running then you are doing very active minutes. An average person burns 100 calories for 1 mile. It doesn't matter…

I have found Fitbit to be pretty accurate. I dont connect it to MFP because I don't like how it guesses your "calorie adjustments" based off how much exercise you have done so far and assumes you will continue that activity the rest of the day so the calorie adjustment is higher in the morning for me than it will be at the…

^^ This Even if you think its too easy. Maybe start at a later week. Try not to look at the mileage and just follow the program and youll be surprised how far you can go.

Thank you for this! Tagging so I can remember to buy more pumpkin at the grocery store
-
Thank you guys. I'm going to start scouting the nearby good will stores and see what I can find and go from there depending on what items I can find first.
-
I'm also on the hunt for more pumpkin recipes. I've made a few pumpkin recipes this week: Pumpkin Butter: http://www.skinnytaste.com/2010/10/pumpkin-butter.html I cut the recipe down in a quarter size because I didn't have much pumpkin and didn't want to make a huge batch if I didn't like it. It's amazing. I've been…

It annoys me when people don't offer me goodies because they think I'm on a "diet" and don't want to tempt me. I can totally fit cookies into my day... gimme gimme.

i second the battery life. It may have died. Try plugging it in to your computer and if that doesn't charge it or reset it, contact fitbit support. They are amazing.

They said low carb with high protein diets tends to do better than low fat diets. Duh. Fat and protein tend to be more filling than carbs so its only natural that people that eat more protein and fat and will experience a higher level of fullness and less likely to binge. Calories in < Calories out is all that matters for…
