I'm almost six months out and nothing yet. Like you, I've felt sometimes like it may be coming, but nothing. BFing and just starting on some solids now.

I'm two months post partum and weigh 10 lbs less than when I got pregnant. I ate at maintenance for the first trimester, and added an extra 200-300 calories through the second and third trimesters. Eat as much clean stuff as you can rather than grabbing for pre-packaged foods (the latter is always super high in sodium). I…

I worked out as long as I could pre-baby, which was past my due date since he was overdue by eight days. I returned shortly after six weeks and the obstetrician's sign off. I had to have an emergency c-section, and the lack of core strength is just astonishing. I didn't feel sad about the c-section until today when my lack…

Now that I'm pumping, I'm going to the gym first thing (5:30 a.m.) before the hubby leaves for work. He's able to feed the babe if he wakes up, and I'm empty pre-workout. So far, so good! Before returning to the gym, we went for long walks around the neighbourhood in the afternoon with the stroller or the wrap. I wear the…

You're a brave lady, weighing yourself 3 days after delivery with the swelling. I was on fluids and had a spinal for the c-section and I was SO swollen. I felt absolutely gigantic -- there was no way I was weighing in until that went down!

I'm just over two weeks post-partum. I was 195 pre-baby and this week I weighed in at 185. Down 10 lbs from my pre-pregancy weight (I credit this to working out right up until I was a week over due). Getting lots of walks in too -- helps calm the baby when he's cranky and it's nice to get out of the house. Eating around…

Be VERY careful eating only 1200 calories. It's pretty controversial to do so when losing weight even without a baby; your body needs fuel to function, especially if you're probably not sleeping as well and you are breastfeeding. Maybe look into a calorie calculator which will tell you how many calories you should be…

Yeah, I was glad that things went as I planned up to that point generally though. I was able to get through contractions without epidural -- they had to rush to get the spinal put in before the c-section because they couldn't believe I had been handling them that well sans drugs. A bit of laughing gas for the tougher ones,…

Baby Eric Bennett Stroh was born at 5:57 a.m. on July 25. Water broke at 1 a.m., was 3 cm dilated. At nearly 4 a.m., I was almost 7 cm dilated, but his heart rate kept dropping with every contraction. It had done this all along, but at around 4 it stopped bouncing back up. The obstetrician on call came in to do a…

Got cervidil put in this morning. Cramps and contractions now. Not fun.

Congrats Kelly! What an awesome story. Still no baby for me. Was supposed to get cervidil put in this morning to get things going, but there was a problem with the paperwork between the clinic and the hospital. Went in for a non-stress test this afternoon and thankfully baby is still healthy and looking good. Maybe…

I think I've been having contractions since late yesterday afternoonish. Clearly very early. It feels like cramping under my belly. Some bouts of pain in my lower back on and off too. Nothing very consistent.
-
Kelly, Tomorrow's my birthday and induction starts Tuesday. I'd like to have this happen pre-induction too. Sigh.

Congrats ladies, on your new arrivals! I'm four days overdue now. Had myself a little pity party after my doctor's appointment the other day -- doesn't appear that baby is any closer to coming than he/she was at last week's appointment. I know these things can turn around very quickly, but trying to keep busy to ignore the…

Oh Dawn, I'm so happy to hear your wonderful news! Congratulations! Welcome to the world, little Finn!
-
Sorry to hear this, Dawn. :( Good luck tomorrow! Sending you positive, happy, baby-coming-out-on-its-own thoughts.
-
Thanks for sharing, Ruby! Very important to keep that perspective in line; even if you don't look like the (probably) photoshopped pictures of pregnant model Marisa Miller, there is a tiny life inside you that your body needs fuel to support. I've been grateful in that I've been able to keep working out throughout my…

Yay! Good luck Dawn! I'm due today; we have a few names that we like for both boy or girl, but nothing nailed down. I'm sure you'll come up with something great.

Cloth diaper baby bum is the cutest thing ever. I'm using cloth as well. We have some disposables; we picked up a box of newborn ones just in case our baby is less than the 8lb weight to fix nicely into our cloth ones. We also might consider disposables the odd time when we're on vacation or road trips and they're just…

Oooh, this is a good idea. We're doing cloth diapers too, and we've gotten about 32198032 baby washcloths as gifts; we could use some of those as wipes.

Coconut oil is magic stuff. It clears up a little rash so quickly (and smells yummy). Even to use it as baby lotion after a bath...

@kelly: I'm not really in a rush either. I figure it will come when it's ready. They let you go to 42 here as well (sometimes more depending). It's more that the waiting will drive me bananas! ;)
-
@kelly: I'm in the same boat you are! 38 weeks. 19 lbs. Ready to get the squished-in little nerd out of there (sometime in the next two weeks, preferably not too much longer than that). Had an ultrasound this morning and they estimate it could weigh 8lbs 6oz by now. Head's measuring 34 cm around. Eeep.
-
On this note: I had gained about 7 lbs by 24 weeks, and I'm up to 19 now at 38 weeks. Eeep. I've really loaded up over the last trimester, even though I try to eat as healthy as I can and still work out.
-
Congratulations! I'm so sorry to hear about your anxiety (and the reasons behind it). I think anxiety pre-ultrasound is normal for everyone. This is my first baby, and I haven't miscarried before, but still... one of my ultrasound techs was checking out things for what seemed like forever and didn't say a word to me. I was…

Yes, yes, yes!

Congratulations, Rosy! So excited for you and your little bundle. Like the others have said, I'm sure the weight will fall off in no time.

I found the Spanx at a maternity store, though I've seen them online and they may have them wherever Spanx are sold. They tighten up the thighs/hips a bit, but have lots of room for the belly. Definitely helps smooth everything else (and nice to have something to keep your legs from rubbing together in the heat... ha).

I have just over three weeks to go too. We put the car seat in the car, just because Murphy's Law would ensure that if we weren't ready in that respect, I'd go into labour early for sure. ;) I'm not as concerned about packing a bag, really.

I had so much energy and was doing so well until recently (I'm at 36 weeks today). Over the past couple weeks, I've really noticed a decrease in motivation. I'm guessing it's because the belly is getting to be so much to lug around and because I've been waking up so many times throughout the night to pee. That lack of a…
