The Conservative Assault on the Constitution by Erwin Chemerinsky. It's a non-fiction political book concerned with the fact that the Supreme Court in America chaired by several hyper-conservative justices have slowly been eroding the freedoms and protections awarded citizens of the US by the Constitution. It is an amazing…

Speaking as someone who has owned an original nook and a kindle I would say just from a quality standpoint the Kindle is MUCH better. As for a nook color I honestly don't consider that an e-reader in any sense of the word, it's simply a tablet computer stripped of almost all of it's usefulness. Honestly I feel it is simply…

Congrats it always helps when someone takes the time to comment about that, really makes you feel good about it all.

Us, we have a little bit in common here. First of all The Stand is one of the most amazing books ever written, INHO, and then pretty much anything I have ever read from Koontz has just been good. Darn, now I wanna get back to reading more Stephen King and I am in the middle of a very long series as it is.

Haha thanks, I thought so as well.

I am so with you on this, dude. I work 12 hour days on rotating shifts so I know all about this dilemma. Only thing I have figured out that works for me is making a weekly schedule of three days a week and sticking to it no matter what. Even if I work I make myself do my routine and I always feel so much better about…

I got into jogging when I was trying to join the Navy. I had about 40 pounds to lose just to get to the top of the chart of eligibility. I started jogging as part of a pre-boot camp workout and I fell in love with it. In my opinion it is the best type of exercise ever and I feel so good after doing it. However, I will…

Me, seeing as the only music I listen to when working out is the Mortal Kombat: Annihilation soundtrack lol. It's the perfect music for me cuz I know it well enough for it to sink into the background but it's still fast paced enough to really motivate me.

I have wanted to try Zumba since I heard about it a few years ago working in a bookkeeping office. I just never have gotten around to doing it. I know some guys do it, I have even seen at least one in a class at a college I used to attend. I find it amusing when men say it would make them feel gay or like less than a man.…

I know this is an old post but I have always wanted to learn Capoeira, I just don't have a place to learn it in my area, plus I am afraid I am nowhere near coordinated enough for it. How hard is it to learn if I was to find a place to do so?

I just finished Week 1 Day 3 about ten minutes ago. I LOVE this program, I might be sucking at the diet part but as for the exercise part I feel like I am actually doing some good.

I had never heard of them until I read your post, but after perusing the amazon page for the book I find myself quite intrigued. I think I might try to buy that little book, it seems quite interesting.

I read that book nearly five years ago, when I was living in San Antonio. Once I started it I just couldn't put it down. I never did read any of the others though, it's a whole series now I think. I would have to start over and that just doesn't really appeal to me.

I also have a Kindle, love that thing, it is so handy and amazing. At the moment I am reading a book called Dune: The Machine Crusade. It's a sci-fi book from the Dune series. I just finished a book called Federation, another sci-fi and also have started reading a bit here and there of the Iliad, and will probably get…

If you can find it try Hedley's Royal Jasmine. I have found that to be the only green tea I can drink regularly. I, like you, find the taste to be quite abhorrent, however with the Jasmine it just tastes so wonderful and smells just as nice.

Thanks so much you guys. It's nice to know there is this much support so quickly after my initial post. My biggest hurdle will be my work schedule and an impending move, so I will be needing all the support I can get to keep myself motivated and on track.
