Totally doable. Just remember this isn't a diet, its a lifestyle change. You learn what's good food, and what's dangerous, or as my husband and I call "expensive" if the calories aren't worth it. Just make sure you're sticking to calories with healthier choices and moving a little more than you're used to. This is the…

Eat more!!!! The more I eat, the more I lose. You are working out A LOT. So your NET calories is what's too low. Honestly, my larger losses are after weekends where I eat quite a bit; either at or a little around net of 1400 after exercise. Your body is used to the low calories, high activity, so it reserves what you give…

How wonderful! Your face is absolutely gorgeous! Keep it up! You're an inspiration to us all...

Watch an old Oprah episode where it talks about Wonder Mom's that are single, working fifty jobs, have a kallion kids, and still volunteer at a every non-profit in their town, cook for the poor, and exercise daily. LOL That will either motivate you, or make you feel like a failure and eat bon-bons in your spare time. :-)…

Ditto on the normal diet and exercise. It's what most of us on here are doing, and succeeding at. Lose the fad diets, shots, pills, etc.

MFP *by far* has the most supportive community in an online capacity. It's a very simple, clean, easy to use site that can change lives for the better. It's like a weight loss credit union. :-)

Absolutely! You're moving, and that's a lot better than not moving at all!

thighs - squats, and for me, the elliptical machine has done wonders arms - boxing and weights. I use the Wii Boxing. I'm worn out after about 15 minutes. But you have to alternate your main punching arm. belly - get an exercise ball, and do crunches. Alternate doing straight up, and then twist right and left. This one is…

Welcome to MFP! Best decision of my life was joining this site. No offense to my husband and kids. :-) Good Luck! Check out the Success Stories on the Message Boards. Inspirational.

I take my daily pills with a couple ounces of apple juice every night, never log it. But hey, I've lost 46 lbs in 4 months. I think I'm ok.

And where do you work? I'd LOVE to have that setup!

Yay! Welcome back! I too am an ex-weight watchers. I totally prefer this site as you can watch all the details, not just points. I found myself cheating too much on WW, by savings points for heavy desserts, rather than making well rounded healthy choices. And the free thing, yeah, the best part. :-)

I've tried Miracle Noodles, but the Tofu Shirataki (which have a few calories) are a little better to me. As long as you wash off the starch water really well, no flavor and will absorb sauces well. They're better with things that normally go with pasta, like meatballs, chicken, cheeses, chunky tomatoes, etc. Eaten by…

I so desperately want to be in your shoes. (Do you wear a US 12 by chance? lol). Seriously though, your post made me cry. But cry because I want to be in that place, I want that support around me when I hit that number. And because I I'm so genuinely happy for you! You've done an amazing job, congrats, and keep movin!

Oh dear heavens... I'm a B right now, at 275. I sure as heck hope I don't end up in an A.

Potassium and water. Stock up on Great Northern Beans and Bananas (those are my personal choices that is). You are typically pretty good with water intake. Do you ever drink gatorade? I have found that when things don't feel right, and I'm drinking plenty of water, I may have an electrolyte imbalance. I have a gatorade on…

Well... I've been on a plateau I increased my intake, and I'm losing again. So likely has some sort of validity I guess. I think I'll follow MFP as listed, and when I plateau, just up my intake for a little bit.

Doesn't that make it a lifestyle and not a 17 day diet? I'm with the others. MFP is a lifestyle change, and I've lost 29 pounds in 60 days doing exactly as this site instructed. Not a fad, just better food choices/habits, and fitness.

Jump rope for cardio. And believe it or not, invest in a hula hoop "for the kids", great for the midsection if you can keep it up and moving on your hips. Both things that kids like to do as well, and less than $10 for both. Squats, chair lifts, and steps are free and great workouts. If your kids like to dance, blast the…

Normal! Anything ab related for me feels tight/sore for about 3 days. Arms last about 2 days, legs only 1.
