@ rochaholic....your 3rd picture is cute

Nobody is saying we are perfect. We are saying that we have to learn self control in order to succeed. We cannot tell people in our lives what to buy. We made the lifestyle change, not them. I am on a calorie counting website and I've reached my goal. Not by telling my husband he couldn't buy the foods I love but by…

I have actually read all the posts. If you read them all you would have noticed that I replied to her response that she was talking about.
-
You replied directly to me trying to sound smart explaining what 'lol' means. When in reality you had made a punctuation error that made me ask the question I did. In turn making you look a little less than smart.
-
I don't think anyone had a problem with her living with her mom and going to school. I think the problem is with her being unappreciative of the opportunity and by her own account being a snooty brat to her mom. She said she TOLD her not to buy it and SCOLDED her for doing so
-
I know what it means which is why I asked what I did. You put it in quotation marks which would indicate it is what you said in the conversation.
-
Did you really say lol in a spoken conversation? Regardless of the rest of your living situation it is your moms decision what she buys. You don't have to eat it if you don't want to. I'm the one that changed my eating habits, I can't expect everyone else I live with to do the same. If your job is truly breaking the law…

Stormtruck2 and his wife.

It is when he goes straight home to watch them and work on their house. His problem is probably more with her priorities than anything else. Then there's the fact that her best friend is a guy and she puts his feelings first.
-
That's ridiculous and a very immature way to look at things. It's selfish and not at all apreciative of everything his parents do for them.
-
Don't you think her in-laws do plenty without her taking 6 extra hours a week? It is not their responsibility to raise the children. But as you pointed out they watch them and feed them. She should get home as soon as possible to relieve people that already help so much!
-
That's even worse. His family may feel taken advantage of. Not only do they provide y'all with a place to stay and make dinner every night but they watch the kids extra while you're taking more time than necessary away from home.

It's not normal for me. My stomach doesn't expand any noticeable amount after eating. Which is why I said "I'm not sure if it's normal" because it's not normal for me and I don't know about other people.
-
I'm not sure if that's normal, maybe you should see a doctor.

I don't have kids but my friend has a daughter and son that are hilarious! I copied a conversation between her and her son that was posted on Facebook. Logan: "I'm not going to forgive Kelli for eating my crackers." Me: "Maybe you should. Forgiving is more about making you feel better than it is the other person." Logan:…

She said he still pays his bills. When I was trying to find the job I would love I never stopped paying rent or anything else.
-
It could be that he hasn't found the right job. I learned bookkeeping shortly out of high school and am good at it so those are the jobs I was able to easily get. I don't really enjoy it so I would switch companies hoping the next one would be better. I eventually got a job bookkeeping at a swimming pool company and after…

My favorite way to make coffee while camping is in a percolator over the campfire.

Clearly, you're doing something horribly wrong.
jesus christ, at least i was never 140 overweight...
I can't believe you said that! Do you really not realize what a douche that makes you sound like?

I haven't smoked for a few years but I was a daily smoker for about 15 years. I was much more active when I smoked so it's definitely possible. I'd smoke, grab my iPod and go bike riding or roller skating. I actually gained my weight after quitting. I do know it's different for everyone, I have friends that won't get off…

When you post on a public forum you're going get people's opinions.

That's why at first it was so easy to believe it was a prank. I'd met the mom, dad and one brother. Plus he called me his girlfriend in front of them. Definitely all *kitten*!!

I dated a guy once for a couple of months. I really liked him and we spent a lot of time together, he would even stay the night a couple of times a week. I had even met and spent time with his family. One day I get a call from a girl that said she knew about me and wanted to let me know that she was his live-in, pregnant…

I was thinking a hat might be a good idea for if I lose my hair.

Thank you :flowerforyou:

That is a great thing you're wiling to do for her! She is lucky to have you in her life! Good luck!
-
Thanks. I'll try that because reading knocks me out if it's close to my pain medicine dose"
-
Is she on a waiting list for one?

I would do cross-stitching so I'm glad you mentioned it being an "at home" hobby. Someone else brought up taking my craft to chemo with me which I think I should do. I read A LOT, is it hard to get used to audio books?

WOW! 7 hours is a long time. I'm off dialysis now but I was doing 4 hours 3 times a week, even that amount of time was rough. I'll look into that website. Thank you!
