I'm stuck here til 5 today and have to do it all over again tomorrow. :grumble: I'm doing everything I need to do today so tomorrow can be my goof off day. I hope everyone has an awesome day, no matter where you are or how long you are working. :smile:

Just a thought...maybe try adding in some exercise. Sometimes a little extra activity can make a difference. Right now it sounds like you are overwhelmed by the food. Don't let it get you down. You can, and you will succeed!

Coffee-mate has peppermint mocha liquid and powder creamers...in regular and sugar free. I don't care for it but my mom is addicted to the stuff lol. She also has Torani sugar free peppermint syrup. She mixes that with the hot chocolate k-cups for peppermint hot chocolate.

For the 1, 2, and 3 mile walks, the average speed is 4.0 mph. That is what I use when logging my workouts. I log Walk and Kick as 5.0 mph, because it is a little more intense. I have a HRM. I weigh 216 lbs and my calories burned for these workouts range from 130 to 450 calories, depending on how much I push myself.

Drawstrings are my friend too lol...I have 4 pairs of khaki pants with drawstrings that are a size 22, and I bought a new pair of jeans last week that are a 16, with room to spare. The drawstrings are pulled tight in the khakis lol.

Thanks guys and gals I'm glad to know I'm not crazy for wanting to take a few days. It's not like I want to eat 5,000 calories a day and stay in bed all day. I have had a lot happen the past two days and I think taking a few days off would be good for me. I will start back up either Saturday or Sunday this week.

The ones that came with my iPod work perfectly for me. I wrap them around my ears and they tend to stay in better that way. I have funky ears too so don't feel bad lol.

I would set your activity level to "active" and then log any exercise you do in addition to work and your daily walk. I only log exercise if I am doing it for the specific purpose of exercising. For example, I don't log cleaning or cooking because I'm not doing it for the exercise.

Eat smaller portions while loading up on the veggies. But most importantly, enjoy yourself :) It sounds like you are going to have a great night.

I would say take a day off. I try to take one or two days off each week from working out.

I would log it as circuit training. Or you could use a HRM and input the amount that it gives you.
