I carry two things with me when I ride. One is an asp. An asp is a collapsible steel baton that hangs from my camelback. I can easily grab it and it is VERY effective for animals. I know it's mid month but I'm in. I've cycled 97 miles on the road and joined a spinning class - not sure how to measure that one other than by time - one hour a class and pretty vigorous!
