Bake your spaghetti squash, brownsome turkey sausage( I use honey suckle white hot italian sausage and remove the casings), add them together with some organic low sodium tomato basil sauce, about 1/2 cup of parmesan. Put everything into a baking dish, whisk 2 eggs,…

I'm not a fan of cauliflower either but noticed if I chop it in the food processor real fine that it kind of takes on the flavor of what I cook it with. I'm a juvenile diabetic so I use it to Keep my carbs under control.

I just restared my journey on 3/31/14. I cut out all wheat and dairy products (I have psoriasis in addition to type 1 diabetes) and have been exercising 5 days per week. I sent my pump readings over to my medtronic trainer who works out of my doctors office for her to look at the numbers because every time I exercised I…

I have been a type 1 diabetic since I was 10 years old, so 23 years now. At the age of 10 before being diagnosed I dropped 30 lbs rapidly, once I was put on insulin, I gained that weight back. When your blood sugar levels are out of control and you have an A1C reading of 12.5 your body is dumping all of your glucose…

Hello! I am 32 years old and was diagnosed at the age of 10. I also did not have any diabetic family or friends so it is quite a learning process. After 22 years, I still learn new things all the time! I'll help you anyway that I can!

I agree, I do exercise around 4-5 days per week, usually walking, biking or exercise videos

ya, i'm not one to eat my calories back- I just can't work that out in my head :) I think that I am going to change it to 1 lb per week and see how that works, I am ending my second week here. I lost 8 lbs my first week and nothing this week and I am thinking its due to not eating enough?

How do you like your pump? I have thought about it several times but keep chickening out! I take Humalog injections with my meals and lantus in the AM and PM. I haven't been great about keeping track of my blood sugar which I am trying to work on as well. I think its great that you have 2 kids! Did everything go OK with…
