I did great with my Zumba challange Monday thru Thursday, then had a total burnout! Monday starts a new week and I got in 90 minutes of Zumba in. I will lower my goal to 45 min per day this week and hopefully won't burnout again. : ) Monday 90 minutes Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday

Goal: 70 min per day x 7 days=490 minutes per week (6,761 cals) Mon- 90 (1242) Tues- 08 (110) Wed- Thur- 55 Fri- Sat- Sun- 392 minutes of Zumba left to go, 5,409 calories left to burn. We’ll see where this goes, Tuesday night I started my DVD and shut it off and went straight to bed after 8 min.

You might want to consider how much sodium is in the hot sauce you eat. I heard that hot sauce burns calories from the heat of the peppers, so I don't know if I would worry about the calories that much.

I'm from Wisconsin, right in the middle. Just got done with my zumba for the day...my homework took longer than I thought it would.

Only got in 25 minutes today...my shoulders are killing me! Has anyone been using the toning sticks? They are the heaviest 1.5 pounds ever!!!! I will switch up tommrow for sure. I will make up my time to reach my goal tommrow. I'm planning 20 min increments zumba, homework, zumba, homework....fun fun.

Made it! Did 60 minutes of Zumba although my goal was 70, but I did do 60 minutes of Pilates also. How is everyone else doing today?

If you use sage, you should burn sweetgrass afterwards as this let's good spirits in. Pray for them and your family

Hi All! I workout with a Zumba group 2-3x per week, but my DVD set just arrived yesterday and I'm ready to get this challenge on. I got my spot all set up to workout. You must be going to the wrong place. My teacher is a super cool hippie type and the people in my class are caring and very sweet. I do Pilates class once a week and they are like a "family"......maybe you should try a different gym.

You just need to keep at it. I know some very athletic people that cannot do yoga. If you keep at it you will find that you become more balanced (as a person and athlete). The best benefit that I have is being able to go to sleep right away at night and getting "more restful" sleep. : )
