Arcade Fire - Funeral or Band of Horses - Cease to Exist

This race is at Wakulla Springs State Park. If you're in the north Florida area, check out the Gulf Winds Track Club. Just look out for the smell of the oil ;-)

I love it with tomato, cilantro, lemon juice, red onion, olives, and feta. Hell yeah.

Gorillaz Plastic Beach album has been a staple for weeks. Also love MGMT, Lady Gaga, and Black Eyes Peas E.N.D.

By the way, I know I won't loss weight without following a good diet/exercise plan - I'm just looking for any other tool I can use!
-
I have been bad and only running inside on the treadmill! It's Florida - hot and sticky outside! I know the outside conditions are definitely going to add minutes. Maybe I'll run in the park tomorrow.

In my opinion, yes, a trainer for the gym should offer to measure her body fat. Especially is she is obviously under 100 pounds.

I mix it with an Indian spice called tandoori (often used on chicken), then mix sauteed chicken into the sauce and serve it on rice. It's a really low-cal, savory Indian dish.

Last night I ate dinner really late, and it helped with the late night munchies. Then, I fell asleep on the couch, and when I woke up to let the dogs out I went munchie crazy. I think going to bed earlier helps, and eating a late dinner. Must avoid late night munchies, they mess us up so bad!

I have recently discovered Dr. Miller's Holy Tea. It is really great to completely lose that bloated feeling and be ready to kick off a new diet. Basically, you drink it after dinner, and it really helps, um, get things moving in the morning. My uncle gave me some and I used it for five days - basically fell in love with…

This recipe makes a really large bowl (but I eat it all myself because I can eat a lot!), and it has 450 calories and 19 grams of fiber. More calories if you add sunflower seeds. Quinoa is kind of like rice, kind of like cous cous, and kind of like grits. Like if cous cous and grits got together and had a love child,…

Cook 1 part quinoa with 2 parts water... Then mix 1 cup quinoa with 1/2 can rotel tomatoes with mild green chilis, 1/2 can black beans, and the flesh of 1/2 an avocado. It is SOOOO good and so easy. I love it!

I would skip dinner. Just drink a lot of water and have a small, high protein snack if you are hungry later.
-
I love sweets too - really, really sweet stuff! I love Nips chocolate parfaits candies - they are caramel or something on the outside and pure chocolate goodness on the inside. They are only 30 calories each, and because it's a hard candy, you have to eat them slow. A great dieting tip is truly just not to bring the stuff…

I'll join you! I will be 30 next month and am looking to lose about 8 - 10 pounds. I am generally a very healthy eater, but I have been known to indulge in my kid's foods. It doesn't help that I'm a teacher in an elementary school, and nearly every week there is a reason to have either pizza or cupcakes! Count me in!

I'm 5'6" and a very muscular 150. I'm trying to get down to 140. I have been as low as 133 but it was hard to maintain, and my friends said I was too thin. I am happy at 150 and weigh a size 8, but think I would jiggle less at 140, and since I'm turning 30 this year, I want a little wiggle room. I have two kids, too.

I thought the site was really neat!

Amen for Crystal Light! I also hate water. HATE IT! Especially tap water. I drink so much water with Crystal Light, my blood is probably sweet.

I was like this last night, so I drank a huge glass of water with Benefiber in it, took a B12, then got pissed and bored so I went to bed. I hate not being able to munch! Meanwhile my husband ate a HUGE bowl of ice cream in front of me. Like 2 cups of Rocky Road. I must be approaching my TOM because I usually am not quite…

Thanks for the encouragement to stick with it. I'm also grumpy because I'm going on vacation for four days (eating out and no access to a computer...) so I know it's going to get EVEN harder to make the right choices. But I'll try! And if I totally screw up then I can come home and get back on MFP and start again.

I like vodka with diet tonic, with fresh limes and a splash of cranberry or Pom.

1500 no exercise, but typically 1850 with my daily exercise.

I just read a great article about this in Women's Health magazine. The thing is, when you eat that little and lose weight, the second you go back to 1300 calories a day (or any other small increase), you WILL gain the weight back. Get your daily intake to what this site, or other reputable site, suggests and stay there.…

I love indie music, so that's always on my iPod, but nothing beats the Black Eyed Peas at the gym!
-
I read the article a few years back - I think Self articles cycle again and again, honestly! I much prefer Women's Health. But back to the point - I love this calculator. It says my happy weight is 144, 1 pound less than my goal weight of 145. And I too feel very, very sorry for someone who DOESN'T allow themselves a treat…

I am just beginning HIGH intensity intervals. I go for 10 minutes to warm up, then do 30 second sprints as hard as I possibly can, then rest for 1 minute to 2 minutes. I repeat this process at least 5 times. Always follow with a cool down. This has completely replaced my long walks on the treadmill!
-
I love planks, side planks, bicycle, reverse crunches, and crunches on a stability ball. A good diet is key to toning up the belly too! I love the Abs Diet in the Women's/Men's Health magazines.

I'm going the compliment route, too. I totally think she meant it to flatter you! Remember, the grass is always greener on the other side, and while we curvy women envy girls with straighter bodies, those girls wish they had our womanly curves!

Not to burst your bubble, but I really don't think that's accurate. I typically do 10% incline at about 3.5 for 30 minutes and I burn around 250 - 300. I weigh 150 though. The best way to know for sure is to get a good heart rate monitor. The calorie counters on machines are notorious for being inaccurate.

Agreed, that stuff is heavenly! Like dieter's cheesecake or something. I love the 2% blueberry and pineapple.
