Troll alert.

I'm with you! I think we both can get there in 2 months. It just takes dedication! I'm here for you! :-)
-
Thanks again - so measure solids in grams, and liquids in ounces.
-
Thanks guys! I can't wait until I get a digital scale. It seems like weight is far more accurate than using a cup!
-
I made it to 149!!! PROGRESS!!!
-
What a difference 20 days make! WAY TO GO!!!!
-
I taught for six years and loved every minute of it! AMEN to this!!!
-
My birthday is also in May, and I'm hoping to hit 145 too! I was at 155 this morning, so it is totally possible!
-
Excellent idea!!! Or I could give myself $5 for every marble that makes it into the "Pounds Lost" jar!
-
Way to go, you have made excellent progress!!!!
-
Honestly, I could do it three times a week, but those other workouts I will be hitting the gym for extended cardio. I could still do it with you though, just at a slightly slower pace.
-
I have no marbles either, so I think I will use pennies.
-
When do you start? I might be able to pull that off!
-
I have that video too! It's intense. I know my goal is kind of lame, but I really want to keep it attainable. I saw the coolest thing on Pinterest today - motivation marbles. You have one jar that says "Pounds to Lose" and another that says "Pounds Lost". Then you put however many marbles into the Pounds to Lose jar and…

I'm at 24.9 and I'm aiming for 23.4.

I tried the e-cig as well for months, but ended back up on regular cigarettes. Alan Carr's book, the Easyway to Quit Smoking, TOTALLY helped me quit. It is a gamechanger!!! I highly recommend it. It has helped two of my friends quit for good too.
-
The Quitline in Florida really helped me too! Between that and the Alan Carr book, I know I have it beat this time. Every other time I quit, I would become sad. I really MISSED smoking, damnit, like I would miss a friend! But this time, I feel blessed to not NEED it anymore. I have truly realized that I didn't enjoy it or…

I actually did just that. I started running about two weeks before I quit. My attempts at running a mile were so pathetic! I looked forward to when it would be easier. I knew that would happen when I quit, so it was very motivating. I can't stress enough how much Alan Carr's book helped me too. It reshaped the way I think…

I used my heart rate monitor and I burned 185 in those 22 minutes. I use 8 pounds weights and they are killing me. What do you guys use?

Research agave nectar. Once hailed as the best sweetener, there has been a LOT of controversy around it lately. Some say it's worse than high fructose corn syrup! If you want the healthiest alternative, most would agree it is stevia. However, it isn't very sweet (in my opinion). Splenda is BAD.
-
So you "cheating" experts - if my BMR is around 1450, would I have one day where I could log up to 2900 calories, given I hit the gym with a fury the next day? I don't want my metabolism to crap out on me. I have a sedentary job now and I'm turning 32 in a few months!

Interesting, I've never tried tumeric to get rid of water. I have some in my pantry but am not sure what to do with it
-
I think they meant kale is loaded with protein! LOL! I actually DO eat meat, once in a blue moon. If it is organic, antibiotic free, free range, local (I know, it's crazy), then I will eat it. Oftentimes meat by those standards is out of my budget, so it is a once in while splurge, usually when my husband is dying to grill…

First, love the name. Not sure if it's a Bright Eyes (the band) reference or not... I retain anywhere from 4 - 6 pounds of water depending on the time of month. It is insanely depressing at times. It can be very frustrating when you are trying to lose weight when the water weight thwarts your efforts!
-
This is probably terrible, but I weigh myself every single morning, naked, after I have used the bathroom.
-
To be honest, I just started counting calories. I wanted to just be able to eat healthy and work out and have my weight stay the same or at least go down a little - evidently it's not that easy. Despite my best efforts, I was gaining weight. Quitting smoking didn't help. Also, I used to teach, but now I have a desk job and…

From a female perspective, I think you look great! I know you have your own goal in mind, but I don't think you even need to lose any more :-)

Avocado is nature's butter. I could eat a whole avocado every day.
-
I'm down 2 pounds - only 5 more to go before Valentine's Day!

I can't wait to check out the recipe site. In reading your posts, I think it may be the cheese and vegennaise is my downfall. That and sweets (although I have given up sweets since the holidays have passed). A typical day might be a fried egg and coffee, a clementine for a snack, tuna made with vegenaisse on romaine with…
