That's too funny - I was thinking the exact same thing!!!!!!

Hi everyone! I stumbled upon a post Robin made on another thread where she recommended someone join the maintenance group. I didn't even think to look to see if there was a maintenance group when I started into maintenance in September of last year. I hope you won't wind if I join the group. I look forward to getting to…

You look fantastic! And congratulations on completing that half marathon - that's a very admirable accomplishment!!!

I like Optimum Nutrition's Pro Complex (Rich Chocolate) mixed into my soymilk after I lift. If I'm just doing cardio - water.

This is pretty close for me, too! I'm 40 years old, 5'4" tall, & weigh 135 lbs. I typically burn between 250 and 350 in Pump (Release 80 puts me closer to 350). I'm typically in the 400-500 range for Combat, Step, and Attack. I'm a Les Mills junkie! :) For the record - I 'added' exercises for BODYPUMP, BODYCOMBAT,…

For me personally - I think it limited how much weight my body was willing to give up. Back in 2004/2005, I lost about 55 lbs and could NOT, no matter how hard I tried or what I changed up, drop below 141 pounds. Fast forward to spring of 2011...I'd gained back about 35 of those 55 pounds I'd lost and decided since 40 was…

Well done! I just wanted to tell you that I've really enjoyed having you as one of my MFP friends because we have a lot in common (with the exception of the distance runs...you ROCK those and I don't do them! HAHA!). Anyway, just wanted to say that you're so inspiring and motivating and I thoroughly admire you for changing…

Oh...my...gosh! YOU ARE AMAZING! Congratulations to you on such a marvelous transformation. Just look at how cute and tiny you are. What an inspiration!

WOW! You're SMOKIN' HOT!!!!! What an awesome transformation! You can see the change in your self-confidence in these pictures, too! Truly wonderful - congrats to you! :flowerforyou:

Sorry - duplicate post!

It depends on what that weight is made up of. Based on the body fat percentage, two people at the same height and weight could look ENTIRELY different.

(and another) ^^^^^THIS!!!!!! Great job!!!

Congratulations! You look fantastic...not "too skinny," but definitely FIT! And for the record - it's ALWAYS good to see another success story - they NEVER get old!!!

 this!

You look INCREDIBLE! I have to agree with a lot of the other people who said you don't need to lose anymore. Switch to focusing on weight training, but you definitely don't need to lose any more weight! Beautifully done!!!!! :flowerforyou:

I am a big fan of Steve Troutman (stroutman81 here on MFP). He's extremely knowledgeable and down to earth...he doesn't follow crazy trends & just tells it like it is - a voice of reason & sanity! Here's his website: www.body-improvements.com. Anyway - stealing from his "Eat" documentation (Under Resources/Eat on his…

My husband and I are both doing NROL at home. I have a gym membership, but my hubby does not. He bought a Body-Solid home gym back in the spring (I use that for my seated rows & lat pull-downs for stage 1). We've had a set of 52.5 lb adjustable dumbbells for years that we use, too. When we decided to start NROL and NROLFW,…

Had to share - I'm so excited! I ordered my BodyMedia FIT after dinner on Monday evening. I got an email late afternoon on Tuesday saying it would ship within 24-48 hours. Then no email yesterday...but lo & behold, around dinnertime last night, the UPS man arrived at my door with my BodyMedia FIT in hand! I charged it last…

@ idauria - hmmm...maybe my step bench w/ risers would be high enough to get a good burn if I just upped the weight and used the bar on my back instead of trying to hold dumbbells and stepping WAY UP on that kitchen chair (I'm only 5'4" - so that's a long way up...my hubby uses the kitchen chair, but he's 6'8" - so it's…

I'm with ya! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one...

LOL, MrsCon40!!! I'm with you...I need to try this, too! Sounds heavenly!

@spoiledwife- I don't have a sleep number bed, either - but my parents do and LOVE it - said they'll never own anything else. We bought a "Sleep to Live" mattress/box spring with "My Side" technology about 1.5 years ago and paid a TON of $ for it. I wish I would've tried the Sleep Number...I'm NOT happy with the Sleep to…

I've decided that the step-ups are probably my least favorite exercise in Stage 1. I'm wondering if it's because of the 'step' I'm using, though. I have a step aerobics bench with 2 risers/bricks/blocks (whatever you want to call them!) for each end/side. That didn't seem high enough, because I really didn't feel like I…

YUM!!!! This looks DELICIOUS! Thanks for sharing!

I much prefer morning workouts, but with schedule constraints I often have mid-day (lunch hour) or evening workouts. I love mornings because it's done, out of the way, and I feel energized the rest of the day!
-
I really SHOULDN'T have spent the money, but I just couldn't help myself and ordered one this evening! :ohwell: I'm excited for it to arrive so I can start using it! I'm curious to see how many calories it says I burn on a given day.
-
Great idea! Mine are: 1) Continue logging every day! 2) Work out 6 days per week (3 NROLFW workouts per week + 3 cardio workouts) + 1 rest day 3) Use the new BodyMedia FIT when it arrives (YES - I caved and ordered one this evening!) to re-evaluate daily caloric needs and adjust eating as needed. 4) Don't STUFF myself at…

Bump to tag new thread!

Wow this thread moves quickly! I'd been having trouble with some pain behind my left knee and down into my calf off an on for about a month. Thursday night into Friday, I woke up a lot during the night because when I'd move, pain would shoot all the way up and down the back of my left leg (even up through my glute!). I…
