Thank you so much Greta for the link! I have always wondered.... Now at least I can figure out a good guess - I only eat vegetable rolls, so now I know some of the estimates I was using are at least in the ballpark.

Thanks so much for posting this topic! I am wondering - does anyone else tend to be confused between hunger vs. fatigue? I get this little voice in my head that says "I'm exhausted! Some food would help!!!!" But I am not aware of feeling gut-hunger when that happens, I just feel weak.

I am 57 1/2 and work out fairly heavily 6 days a week. My TDEE is 1,168. At 80%, I would have to eat 934 calories in order to lose weight. This is just NOT for everyone.

I had tennis elbow in BOTH elbows and, to make things worse, during the time of the injury I kept knocking into doorknobs over and over againnnnnn! I feel your pain! I see so many people at one of my gyms who think they have invented something new OR just haven't a clue as to the proper form. The other gym has better-informed people in it, although some of the things recommended by the trainers don't seem all that effective. As to this photo - where did you find it? It is cringe-worthy.

Why not visit a nutritionist? Hypoglycemia is a very tricky disorder and you may find that investing in professional advice will be a good investment for your health.

How i wish I could be vegan! But without eggs and dairy, I would not be healthy. I have discovered that once I put my mind to it, I could do without most packaged, processed foods and am sticking now to a lot of raw fruits and vegetables plus a slow-cooker bean soup that keeps me feeling full.

I am 57 and have been working out since my early twenties. The only difference for me now is that I cannot afford ANY prolonged period of inactivity. The muscles (including heart and lungs) need to be continually challenged - if not, I start to be susceptible to injury.
