  • I give a couple of choices for lunch and breakfast, but dinner is whatever I make or nothing.
  • I like Old Navy's sweetheart cut! I am pretty cheap when it comes to clothes though, 30 dollars is the most I'll spend on jeans. I also really love a pair I got from Wet Seal... blue something I think. They were my favorite but they're ripped up beyond wear now.
  • Completed week1day3 of push ups and it was actually easy!! What?
  • I'm 5'7.. so close! I'm happy with my weight (around 130) but my goals for August are to run two miles in 22 minutes, be able to do 10 push ups in a row, and do 46 sit ups in 2 minutes. I'm also aiming to run outdoors at least once per week, rather than using an indoor track like I usually do. HIITme, you sound like me.…
  • I know this is anecdotal, but I had the same stats (and love for unhealthy food) as your daughter when I was her age. By high school I lost weight and gained height without even trying, and at 20 years old I'm actually on the thin side of normal. Everyone here has posted excellent advice but I think that just because she's…
  • Completed w1d2 of push ups and w2d1 of sit ups :)
  • I am doing the sit ups and push ups. I'm starting week 2 for sit ups tomorrow. I've been doing day 1 for push ups for aaages now but I managed seven in a row on Friday last week so I think I'll suck it up and move on to day two tomorrow (although I'm anticipating repeating weeks in the future). I'll definitely be checking…
  • I passed my first physical assessment for the future soldier program today! I signed on a couple of weeks ago but I don't go to basic until early next year. However, since I've passed the initial test that means I get to take real Army style PT tests every month... maybe I shouldn't have tried so hard haha.
  • That is awesome! I've noticed a big increase in confidence, too, since I started couch to 5k a couple of months ago. I've definitely learned to love it. Congratulations on the changes you're making :)
  • Way to go!! My little ones lost 30DS when I was half way through level 3, so I have been on RI30 for a week or so now. It is definitely tough, I'm so glad I did 30DS first! What size weights are you planning on using?
  • Apparently I would be from Japan, and my husband would be from Croatia. That is really neat, thanks for sharing!
  • I'm jealous, my boobs have actually shrunk a cup size D: But good for you!!
  • How sweet of them! Kelann, if you search "mother's necklace" or something like that on Etsy you can find a lot to choose from.
  • We have a family membership for the YMCA. That's $49 for me and my husband, and our kids to childwatch, plus we can swim and get discounts on kids' sports. It's worth it just for the childcare alone for us.
  • I add in diced tomatoes and onions, some corn, and cumin, chili powder, and garlic salt. I'm pretty sure it needs lime juice, but I never have any on hand.
  • Hi, I am in Lawton too! The heat here is ridiculous. I use the indoor track at the YMCA. They have programs to help with membership costs, if that's an issue, and I love being able to use childwatch. I know you said it wasn't an option for you, but just in case you weren't aware of that info!
  • I start tomorrow! Glad to hear a positive review!

  • I am a beginning "runner," though it might be better described as slow jogging or bouncy walking, haha. But I'm making an effort! I'm on week 7 of couch to 5k :)
  • This is me! I wear size 6 pants but I'm 130 and 5'7. I'm happy at 130 but I'd love to be less bottom heavy!
  • The other day I mixed 3/4 cups of greek yogurt with a tablespoon or two of cocoa powder and a couple of teaspoons of brown sugar. It wasn't the best, but it was pretty good.
  • I see on your profile that you're overcoming an eating disorder. If you're not already in touch with a therapist or medical professional of some sort, I would really encourage you to talk to one. You ate, what, 500 calories today? On a cheat day? You should probably be eating triple of that amount every day. I have…
  • Yes! They weren't huge to begin with - 34C. Since the last time I've bought bras I've stopped breastfeeding as well as been exercising more. Calculators online based on measurements put me at 32B now. If I shrink anymore there won't be much left!
  • Psh, you look great!
  • Way to go!

  • Despite my efforts, I'm typically under my calories. I've started eating a bowl of greek yogurt with a banana after the kids go to bed every night and that's around 200, depending on what else you put in the yogurt.
  • I took a day off yesterday. I was out of town from 11-7:30, my kids stayed up late, and I just plain didn't feel like it, haha. I'll get back on track today! Edit: and that's the first day off since the 4th, so not bad!
  • If you can afford it, maybe look into a YMCA family membership or a gym with childcare? I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old and as much as I love them, I really look forward to dropping them off at childwatch for half an hour 3 times a week. I noticed almost immediately that child-free exercise is a stress reliever and an…
  • I'm on NuvaRing right now and it's pretty great. No weight gain, and I actually noticed a lowered appetite for quite a while when I first started. The only negative is that it's expensive without insurance and makes my period a bit longer and heavier. Before I got pregnant with my second child I was on Mirena. It was…
  • I eat greek yogurt with sliced banana and another fruit (usually blueberries or strawberries) every day. Definitely does the trick, although I've gotten to the point I enjoy greek yogurt even by itself now. Someone on here suggested mixing it with Crystal Light, too. (Edit, sorry, didn't see that mentioned upthread haha)
  • I did it today! I actually really enjoyed it, but maybe that's just the novelty of it. My arms are already sore though!
