  • Following this--I've been strongly considering getting it! I've been curious as to the variety available. Are there lots of different programs? (ie weights, cardio, low impact, plyo)
  • I love it! I also see better results when I do my cardio fasted. Weight/circuit training, however, I always need fuel for or I run out of steam.
  • Hey, guys! I know this is an older thread, but I just started 22 Min Hard Corps on Monday--I'm loving it so far (and I also feel like I've been hit by a truck as an added bonus). I would love to add some friends also on this journey!
  • Hello! 5'5" and 28 years old. I just recently began a medication for my thyroid due to some lower than normal levels. It's been frustrating, as I've gained about 20 lbs in the past year through a mixture of sickness, fatigue, and finally, a "screw it, nothing's working" attitude. Even though I exercise pretty much daily…
  • I just want to chime in and say I feel your pain! I work out every day and eat relatively well (splurges now and then, of course), but my weight keeps climbing. I've recently been put on medication to correct my low thyroid levels. I know the frustration! Just wanted to let you know you're not alone!

  • I clicked on this because it described me! haha. I'm down to about 40 to lose now, but I could use some more friends. :( Lots of mine are now inactive.
  • I've been MFP-ing (that's a word, right?) and a lot of my friends aren't active anymore. :( I log every day and interact pretty much every day, as well. Anybody wanna be friends??
  • Earlier this week, I threw away half a bag of sneaky Doritos that mysteriously showed up in the cupboard to stop the temptation...then dug them out of the trash and ate some. /shame. I love this thread. I love how it shows we are all human. <3
  • This is excellent. On many different levels.
  • It's weird how a word will all of a sudden start looking funny after you've typed it several times in a row. Also, I've been suddenly craving grapefruit all day.
  • Btw! I am also 5'5" and am currently somewhere in the 160s. Still sticking to it, slowly but surely! Feel free to add me, or any of you guys looking for more friends! :) More the merrier!
  • Agree with pretty much everything Runyan2002 said up there ^. I completely and utterly understand the frustration! I can say, though, that if there's one thing I have learned throughout my personal journey--ditch the scale. Celebrate the non-scale victories, take measurements and progress pictures... The scale is…
  • I prefer strength training over anything else! I'm strength training 4~ times a week (circuit training), and doing some HIIT and yoga. I would love some friends! My diary is open, and I'm on here way too much. :)
  • 27! And in dire need of motivational friends, for anybody happens to be interested. :)
  • I feel you there! Running outside seems to go so much faster. haha... Music is a big one for me. It helps to pass the time. I have a treadmill at my home, and I'll also on occasion use my tablet to stream movies or shows while I run. I do love the treadmill for HIIT (as it's easier to track and adjust speeds/inclines), but…
  • Great thread! Thank you. I am shopping as well.
  • Thanks, guys! I'm going to give the coffee in the afternoon and bigger snack a try today and hopefully that does help. If not, I'll be checking out some of the other recommendations. Thanks, everybody, for your suggestions! :)
  • Also forgot to add--congrats on a 40lb loss! That's awesome!
  • Thanks for the [mostly] positive replies. I rarely post on here because there's always someone that's has to be negative or not friendly. And I'm not all about that. As a couple of you mentioned, I just very well may not be eating a big enough snack. Maybe I just need to increase the size of the snack or its contents.…
  • I love these threads! Not only is it HUGELY motivating, but it does put everything in perspective. It truly shows how different weight sits on different frames and sometimes, even people of the same height. If that makes sense. Helps me to not get so hung up on the number and to focus more on the process. All of you are so…
  • I'm starting this tonight, so I really appreciate this thread and all the advice! :) Thanks, OP!
  • This is an awesome post! I learned the hard way that adjusting your social life is sometimes necessary to meet your goals...especially when it comes to people that are not on the same page or not supportive... It's sad how much more expensive healthy food is vs quick processed junk. :( It's okay to forgive yourself. You…
  • Thanks, guys! Nice to "meet" everyone. :) I'm a Hoosier, myself! Well, born in Georgia and somehow ended up here, anyway.
  • Hi there! I am new to running and am just starting to enjoy it. It's always been daunting. Props to you guys for those distances. I ran my first few 5ks last year and am training for my first 10k in September. Nervous! Just saying I sympathize! :)
