I, like the others, like it and feel stronger and more fit after doing it. Honestly, I have Jillian's Ripped in 30 and like that one better but they are both good and produce results. Both Shred and Ripped have the same concept 3 minutes of strength training, 2 minutes of cardio, and 1 minute of abs. Good luck to you

My sister was getting ready to have her second baby since my last baby and I wasn't about to let her loose her baby number 2 weight before I lost my baby weight. A little healthy competition is always good:)

I am due for a new phone soon and think I might have to upgrade and use the phone for gps from what i am seeing from researching and buy a heart rate monitor for calorie counting. Thanks for the information.
-
I have been doing research but am feeling so overwhelmed! I mainly run on a treadmill but when I have a chance I run outside. I would like something with a calorie counter for running and dvds as well as gps but I am not sure that product is out there???
-
Anyone have any suggestions?

I have been looking for a heart rate monitor that tracks calories burnt and also measures out my runs so I am really interested in what everyone thinks is the best product out there for that? I mainly run on a treadmill and do dvds but on the rare occasion when I can I love to run outside and would like something that has…

Here is another one that is kid friendly. Crockpot Italian Chicken: 4 chicken breasts, 1 packet Zesty Italian dressing seasoning, 1 8 oz. cream cheese (softened), 2 cans cream of chicken soup; Cook on low for 4 hours. If sauce is too thick, add a little milk. Serve over pasta or rice. ( I warmed the cream cheese and cream…

Muscle burns more calories than fat so it is important to do both cardio and strength training. As far as machines compared to free weights that is entirely up to you. What are you most comfortable with? With people just starting out, machines usually are used more because a person is less likely to use improper form than…

Here are a few ideas: 100 calorie popcorn, emerald on the go breakfast pouches (180-210 calories), fiber one bars (140 calories), kroger has honey flavored pretzel twist (10 of them = 110 calories), and a new favorite a smoothie. I mix if up but use a kroger carb lite yogurt (6oz container = 60 calories), 1/2 - 1 cup of…

I would love to join - have not joined a group before and thought this would help motivate me. I would like to run 125 miles this month. I have currently ran 9.75 mile.

I have been doing some workouts from Netflix (if you have it) - I just did 10 minute Target toning today and thought it was good for toning. Netflix has alot of 50 minute workouts that are broke down into 10 minute segments. I like to mix up my workouts and keep it new. Being a stay at home mom, I completely understand the…

Sure! I don't know what you did at the gym yesterday but if it was cardio do whatever it is you like doing. If you did some weights and want to do them today just try and use different muscle groups. I get cardio in 6 days a week because I need the calories so I can eat;)!

Ranch Veggies are a favorite of our family. I cut up whatever veges I have on hand (normally carrots, potatoes, cauliflower) and if i have them I throw in some fresh mushrooms too. (If you use greens like broccoli or green peppers I wait to put these in the oven so I will do 2 different bags to coat) Put the veges in a…

I broke down last year and bought a nike pro combat dri-fit shirt that is made for running outside. It does not seem very heavy but it really keeps me warm! In fact, last winter many times I only ran with that shirt on and kept plenty warm. Another suggestion is to stalk up on some exercise dvds. That way there are options…

Keep up with the great work! I can tell you have lost weight through your face. I am sure you can tell in your clothes too:) When I went shopping and had to get smaller clothes - that really motivated me to stick with it. Choosing a healthier lifestyle is going to not only impact you but your daughter. Congrats on your…

Great Job! I just bought my first pair of skinnys too!!! It is such a feeling of accomplishment. I have measured myself over the last 2 1/2 months and that has helped too because I haven't lost a ton of weight but the inches lost have made it possible to fit into those skinnys. Keep up the good work and wear those jeans to…

I think it is a combination of weight and inches lost. Measure yourself as well as weigh in. I have lost 13lbs and 8 inches and have went down 2 pant sizes. I measured bust, hips, waist, arms, and thighs. Exercising plays a big role in shaping the body as well as weight loss. Good luck and keep with it. You will see…
-
First, measure yourself (whatever you want to see go down for me the thighs!). You will be surprised of not only the pounds you loose but also the inches. I was not one to measure myself but I did about 2 months ago and am so glad I did. It really is encouraging to look back and see results - keeps you motivated to stay on…

I have been doing Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 and am seeing results. It is a 24 minute dvd that I do 3-5 times a week so I am taking it slower than you are told to. I have always worked out but I am finally seeing the inches come off with this. If you do it measure yourself before and you will results. She works all…

Our feet swell as we run so I agree with all the others that you probably need a bigger shoe. Go to a running store that has you run and tells you what shoe would work best for your foot.
