Thx for the pizza dough recipe! I just got a new cookbook- heart healthy pizza- (I think that's the title) and I'm excited to try out some low fat vegan pizzas. Maybe even find one my husband will eat without cheese! :)

Bump! Thx!

Hooping is a great workout! I suggest trying a class near you! It's easier to learn with a teacher and then practice on your own. You can also try put an adult hoop and find your size thst way. Try hooping.org to find other hoopers near you. Hoopnotica in LA makes great hoops but so do most hoop teachers.

My sister & her husband have been doing this for several months & they lost around 20-30lbs each and look great! Cholesterol and other numbers all improved as well. I've been vegan for a while myself. Best healthy choice I've made :) good luck! Enjoy the journey. :)

Bob Harper's DVDs have been on sale on his website for $5-7. The ultimate cardio is good as is yoga for the warrior. I think it's mytrainerbob.com :)

Robin Robertson has a great low carb vegan cookbook. I think it's carb conscious vegetarian.

This is one of my all time favorite things since going veg!

Bump. I'm working on my speed too! :)

Thanks! (bump!)

I'm gonna have to try this! I bought Chia seeds, and have been looking for ways to use them! What else do you put them in?

I've been reading his work too! Just finished Thrive Fitness and got Thrive foods. I'm not a professional at all, of course, but he has great recipes for fueling every athlete. He also has a great line of products for days I don't have time to make stuff (the Vega foods). Hope you keep sharing how it all works for you! :)

Streaming on Netflix! It was a great film. I enjoyed it.

I agree with all the ideas above- sauteeing with veggies is awesome! Maybe try tofu scramble too? One of my fav breakfasts. It's also good baked in larger pieces. Can replace egg in egg salad too. If you're not used to the taste of it- definitely marinate it (or season it in a scramble or salad)! I like Bragg's as a…

I use Nike+GPS. It is free on occasion- they sometimes have a special deal, so keep an eye out (it was free for a week earlier this summer). I don't know if RunKeeper is free or not, but I've heard good things about it too.

Thanks! I love vegan baking! :) have to try this out :)

Congrats! What kind of program did your trainer have you on? Great results!

You might try Vega products - they make great vegan supplements for athletes & I think they have a protein powder!

Hey! I'm vegan myself, but also have high carb intake- mine is set at 65 carbs 20 protein 15 fat. If a lot of your carbs are leafy greens and veggies, you're fine! I say up those and the high protein grains (quinoa, etc), at the expense of starchy carbs- if those seem to cause weight gain for you. Robin Robertson has a…

I'm not sure about cookbooks with meat, but some great healthy vegetarian cookbooks: Lindsay Nixon's Happy Herbivore, Colleen Patrick G.'s Vegan Table, Robin Robertson- lots of good titles. Even if you're a meat eater (my fam eats meat) they give lots of good ideas for veggies! :)

I just got this one- Have you tried it yet? It's a bit shorter than his Cardio Xtreme Weight Loss- this one comes in at 48 minutes total- about 42 of workout. It's good- definitely challenging, but nothing crazy. Uses a lot of moves from his other dvds- standing side crunches, lots of versions of plank/side plank/tabletop.…

Ps I don't use a weighted hoop. Just an adult size! Unweighted hoops still give u a cardio blast!!
