  • Its not healthy but id eat crazy low cals for a week, with no carbs and then drink much or eat anything the day before my medical if I had to. Id empty my bowls with laxatives also. I think you could temporarily drop 5lb easy enough :-) Im doing low carb and dropped 8lbs in the first 2 weeks so thats close and I wasnt even…
  • My mother lost 140 lbs and 3 shoe sizes and down from extra extra wide to narrow fit!
  • Im now doing 1200 but planning my food and doing some exercise too (up to 700 cals a day) so I can eat more but still net that or just below thats how I eat 1200 :-) Im currently 201 started at 210 and my goal is 143-163 not sure (thats the ideal for my height and frame) :-)
  • http://www.livestrong.com/article/134661-the-ideal-body-weight-body-frame-size/ This link helps you determine your ideal weight. considering most of the bodies weight is water I wouldnt say a large frame stops you losing weight, it just means your ideal weight is higher but still in the normal BMI zone :-) for me its…
  • You can calculate frame size from wrist size and your height through various sites on the net :-) I am large framed and 5ft7 anything from 120-164 lbs is healthy by BMI but going by frame size 140-163 is a more ideal goal for me according to frame size tables. I have good strong broad shoulders and a large rib cage, as a…
  • I have ben wondering about the fitbit thingy , I have a HRM and found using that that playing dance games on teh PS3 is a far better wourkout calorie wise than cycling for example!
  • You can get gluten free versions of all those things. Gluten free pasta isnt actually anymore costly than normal branded pasta , I am wheat intolerant so I can eat wheat but it bloats me right up and causes rear end problems should be we say. You can get muffins too I know tesco sell them. Potato, rice, cous cous, quinoa…
  • M goal is a UK size 10 , which I think is US 6 :-)
  • Pork shoulder is £2 a kg in Morrisons right now, it has no bone and only abit of fat/skin so you get around 1.5kg for £2 of actual meat, now per meal I think 50g for a soup/stew/curry is a nice amount (if bulked with veggies, 100g if little veg) so you should get enough for loads of meals! If you cook this pork in a slow…
  • This is one of the reasons I dont go to the gym, I cant stand being around people. I also cant wear earphones (hearing damage already in my ears, im 21 with the hearing of somebody about 4x my age) so I cant block it out. At home I have an exercise bike, dancing/fitness games for PS3 (wore my HRM and I can burn 600 cals an…
  • im a large frame hourglass so even at my weight of 201 lbs I look different to the photos on here! But im going to follow this for motivation! 140lbs is my goal!
  • I am in the UK and find their clothes very small in the chest area but true to size elsewhere , though a tad small compared to other stores.
  • 12 lb is 12lb I wouldnt complain over that :-) a gain or no loss would be worse :-)
  • I have a kitten ill post pics of her later :-)
  • I think you would grow out of that set pretty quickly and you can just add more weights on. The max weight in that one is 4.5 kg per arm http://www.tesco.com/direct/one-body-15kg-vinyl-dumbell-set/208-7935.prd?skuId=208-7935&pageLevel= I have these and its upto 7.5 kg per arm but you could have them as little as 2kg per…
  • Chinese chop suey :-) without chips or rice. Its literally just veges and meat in a stock/sauce thing so its really low cal but still got that takeaway taste! Its low enough that you could get chips or rice with it and still be ok. Quite nutrittious for takeaway too!
  • I have full body photos in my knickers from my starting point, they are awful and will need editing if I were to post them here! I dont like it but I know that is what I look like now and that I really want to change .... I should put that photo on my lunch box and id never eat again :-) I dont think ill do a proper before…
  • Me and my mother look really similar so I used to use her gym pass to get in rather than pay as its too expensive but tbh I hated it. Far too hot, crowded, smelly, full of meat head men, queues for all equipment, dirty pigs who wouldnt clean their sweat off kit, inconvenient hours, people who sing out loud while doing their…
  • There is 2 cals difference for me between that site and this one that I use : http://www.shapesense.com/fitness-exercise/calculators/heart-rate-based-calorie-burn-calculator.aspx
  • I have an implant and love it. No periods in a year so far!
  • The one I got from Argos for £14.99 gives me avg heart rate and max rate , tis enough for me then I use a website to put that into a calorie number :-) bargain and seems to work well compared to me counting my heart rate
  • ive just ordered it :-)
  • The best running shoes are the ones that fit and are comfy. If you are in the UK I suggest you watch the BBC documentary on sports goods, there is practically no research that proves that trainers are any good, or that bare foot running is good, or one style is good etc etc :-)
  • did she look like that? Photo is of lipedema patients they cannot lose their fat in their areas where they are affected sadly just made an interested photo especially C with the really odd shaped distribution
  • Something like chop suey isnt actulaly all that bad, its just veggies in a sauce/stock according to google a cup of beef chop suey is less than 300 cals.
  • Yup my thoughts exactly :-) as a casual user a cheapy would do the job and at £15 in a sale if I decide not to ever use it its no great loss :-)
  • I am doing the 1200 cals until I am no longer obese my BMI is 31.8 right now, doing the low cal to get a kick start, some fast results if you like to keep me motivated , then doing 1500 cals until my goal and that includes eating back exercise cals.
  • I had: 4 huge cauli florets handful of brocolli a whole pepper a cup of cabbage 2 carrots half a turnip half a leek and I had a vege curry earlier that had a few bits of veg in I think that counts as 5 :-)
