2/3 cup of whole milk plain yogurt mixed with a 1/2 cup of granola (recipe from 100daysofrealfood.com)

I always run by myself and there are lots of other people that do too. The nervousness will go away as soon as you start running.

Anyone can feel free to add me. I log in every day and work out 5-6 days a week. I eat whole foods, nothing processed (most of the time, nobody's perfect). My food diary is open to friends.

Food Matters is a good book too, but I meant to say In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. Read it, you won't regret it.

Food Matters by Michael Pollan will completely change the way you see food. It is about eating real food, the way your grandparents or great grandparents ate it. He emphasizes the importance of a mostly plant based diet, no processed foods, and only eating what you need to feel full. No fad diets are going to help you make…

I take plain whole milk yogurt (2/3 cup) with about a half cup of blueberries (I buy the frozen ones and put them in there the day before so they are defrosted) and add half a cup of granola. It's got lots of protein and keeps me full for at least four hours.

Go to 100daysofrealfood.com. There are tons of tips on how to get started eating "real food" and lots of easy recipes that use normal easy to find ingredients.

I log all the Jillian Michaels DVDs as circuit training, general. I don't have a heart rate monitor either.

I don't know if you have an Aldi near you, but they have started selling quite a few organic items. Also a Farmer's Market is a great place to get organic or sometimes food that is not technically organic but the farmer can tell you that it has not been sprayed. A CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) is great. I get a box…

I make homemade granola. It is not low calorie so you need to measure your portions but it is very nutrient dense and will keep you full for several hours as opposed to other store bought cereals that have very few nutrients and do not keep you full at all. A little fruit on top is also yummy. My favorite recipe is this…

I'm trying to find out the same thing for chicken stock. I am going to start drinking it daily but there are so many different estimates of calories. I think it is a lot different from the stuff you get in a carton from the grocery store so I'm not going with that. I also make venison stock and use it in soups and stews so…

You definitely need more veggies and to eat less processed foods. Cut out the splenda, anything nonfat/sugar free. They do more harm than good.
-
Congratulations! Eating real food is the way to go. You will be so much healthier.

Your calories burned are going to vary based on your body and your level of effort. I usually enter it as circuit training. I don't have a heart rate monitor so I don't know the exact calories that I burn.

Well, I'm about two months too late, but I would be interested in doing this. I have several Jillian Michaels DVDs. My favorite one is 30 Day Shred. Anyone else with me?

The nice ones I sold at a consignment shop. The ok ones went to the Goodwill. I don't want them hanging around anymore!

I'm just under 5'5", I was 195 at 9 months pregnant, 175 after he was born. Let me just say, breastfeeding is the best diet out there. I should have never stopped, because as soon as I did, I started to gain weight again.

Apparently it works for some and not for others. I'm not dumb, it just doesn't work. Instead of an add button, there is a scanner icon so you cannot add ingredients.

I have the same problem as you. I have e-mailed support a couple of times and they seem to be clueless as to why it is like that. I have had that problem for over a year, on my iPhone 4 and iPhone 5. It irritates me that they don't fix it!

I went from hating running to doing a 5K and then deciding to do a half marathon, so it was very new to me. I got a training plan from runnersworld.com and decided that if I wanted to be able to complete the race, I had to stick to the training plan or else I was going to be very disappointed in myself come race day.…

She should definitely talk to her doctor about an ideal calorie goal. I would say 1500-1600 sounds reasonable to me. Breastfeeding can burn 500 calories a day. Just make sure she is eating non-processed balanced meals so she can be sure she is giving the baby the best.

I'm about 5' 4 1/2" 131 lbs. I would like to lose about five to ten more pounds and firm up. I'm training for a half marathon in May and I try to eat mostly real food. Anyone can add me.

I'll eat what I want to eat, and you eat what you want to eat. I think we know which one of us will be the healthier one.

BBQ chicken pizza, chocolate, cookies, ice cream. I DO NOT buy these things because I know they are bad for me, but I fight with my husband because he buys them and I can't resist sometimes.

Breastfeeding burns about 500-600 calories/day so I would say you should definitely be eating more than 1200 calories.

I check the clearance racks every time I go to Tarjay and Meijer. They both have some good brands.
