  • I have a lot of her dvd's and I don't know which one I want to start. Maybe I will do 6w6p =)
  • Like many has said running is amazing but bad for knees and joints. However, if you are doing it right running will be fantastic no matter what. If you get fitted for shoes, take your time, have rest days established, stretch often, running most likely won't be a problem. But a lot of other cardio and exercises can be at…
  • I agree, I spend 45-60 minutes at the gym. Sometimes less and sometimes more it depends on how long I stretch for really and how many people are strength training, which really determines how long I am at the gym. If I am at the gym over 45 minutes its not because I want to its because there are 32904382 people at the gym…
  • I think your right your brain might be doing some sabotaging because you might be exercising too much. I know you don't want to but getting on the scale to see where your at is probably your best bet because if there isn't a dramatic change then you know to change up your routines more. I lose the most weight when I change…
  • 5'1" Age: 23 SW: 224 CW: 161 GW: 130 Ideal Weight: 125 Good luck ladies and gentlemen =)
  • If you feel like this is too much before altering your entire workout schedule change your rest days to split it up so your not working out 5 days in row. I also workout 5 days a week and for 10 weeks during my classes, internship, and work I had to workout 5 days in a row and was thankful when it was over so I could split…
  • I mix in cardio with my core workouts to keep my heart rate up. I have seen the most results by strength training. Like everyone said you have to lower your body fat % and can't spot reduce. Other exercises that help are push-ups, squats, and planks, both of which keep your heart rate up.
  • When I first started exercising in 8 weeks I lost over 15 pounds. I still use it and have loved the results. My calves, thighs, and bum are way toner, along with my arms as well. And I can feel the workout in my core too. In total I have lost 63 pounds but since Jan. I have been doing more/different options of cardio along…
  • I have had PCOS for 7-8 years and it has been a difficult struggle but I never gave up and I don't have much more to go. I have lost 63 pounds in total but I believe it took a lot longer than most who don't have PCOS. I am here for encouragement and support =)
  • Maybe when I am on my period I will take it everyday, that might help with that part. See I tried taking naproxen and it sort of works, it gets rid the achy feeling but I am still doubling over in pain. Sometimes this womanhood thing sucks, lol.
  • I know were already friends but thought I would say you have my support and encouragment. PCOS definitely has its struggles that is for sure. I have been diagnosed with it for 7-8 years but have had it much longer, it just took a long time for a doctor to diagnose me. That is one of the biggest reasons why I am overweight…
  • Hey ya'll my name is Kambria, I am 23 and was diagnosed with PCOS about 7-8 years ago, after getting fatally sick from the patch. Doctor told me I have had much longer since 7th grade. My body went through puberty but didn't actually go through it, I know it makes no sense. In 6th grade I was petite and thin, in 7th grade…
  • Thanks, I will look into some groups it would really be helpful!
  • Yes I take metformin and birth control, one that doesn't have certain hormones because if I get too much of certain ones it causes me to be fatally sick and/or causes migraines. It is awful but after 2 years of trial and error we finally found one! I will look into the diet workbook thanks! :)
  • Well I have been on the bandwagon for over a year now but with PCOS I just struggle with my weight. I take a multivitamin and the necessary meds for PCOS but I don't know if I should be taking more. I have done research but I guess I need to talk to my doctor more.
  • Bump...I really could use any information others have to offer. :)
  • I start mine very soon, ugh! Although I am not on my period yet last night I got a horrible breathtaking cramp, I will try to take deep breaths while running if that doesn't work I either slow down my run or stop for a minute and take in slow, deep, long breaths. It usually fades away. I have noticed while on miss aunt…
  • What I do is when this happens to me I will eat right at my calories or go over. You don't even have to go over by much. I eat at different times everyday not because I am doing it purposely but because everyday my schedule is different with 1 job, internship, and 4 classes. This also helps. So far I haven't had this issue…
  • I just started running too and I am doing the couch to 5k and it is amazing. Never thought I would enjoy or become a runner but I am. I am hooked. A few things I have learned is like what most said is breathing, something I am still working on. Patience is huge, we all wish we could go out and run 3-4 miles without…
  • Yay, I was gonna post something for us shorties but just seen this post. I am 5'1 and started out at 224 and now weigh 168. In high school I was at 150 and my doctor and I believe that 125-130 is doable. Feel free to add me and check out my photos. I never thought I would lose 55 pounds and get to 168 but here I am, 39…
  • You look so amazing, I would have never guessed you are 30, here is the secret to looking younger! Keep up the good work, such a inspiration! Can't wait to post my success story, 39 pounds to go!
  • Protein, such as whey protein which can be added to basically anything; pudding, juice, milk, water, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, eggs, and the list goes on. Whey protein can be bought at walmart or any other store. There are flavors, shake mix, etc. I hope this helps.
  • I am training for a 10k and starting with the couch to 5k, feel free to add me. Its amazing and I love the results so far!
  • I log my foods/snacks daily and of course when I exercise which is 5 days a week. Add me and we can be motivating and support to each other =)
  • When my face is red, my clothes are sticking to me, and hair is all tangled...Basically looking like one hot mess, haha. Also when I wake up the next day I love the pain and the burn...Although it sucks but it is a reminder that I am burning fat, gaining muscle and toning up. But stairs are the devil!
