Thanks guys. And in reference to the pizza and sushi I ate it was my naughty food day....so that's why. And I add TONS of vegetables to my pizza, as well as eat it post work-out. Also, I don't log all the vegetables I eat, because I mostly use mfp to just track macros. And whoever posted about weighing food, I said I do…

DancingMoosie i actually switched from special K protein to the cereal i'm eating now because it has more natural ingredients (nuts and seeds, etc) and keeps me full longer. I also use regular coffee creamer instead of sugar free because sugar free products make me crave sugar later in the day and actually cause me to…

I actually generally dont eat very many processed foods. I did a couple of days ago because I was out all day...but thats not normal for me. All of the protein bars I eat are natural and any of the frozen meals I eat have no preservatives. I DO eat protein cereal in the morning, but the ingredients list is actually pretty…

I'm aware that in order to cut you're supposed to reduce calories... I'm just asking what people do in my situation. Do I just feel sick and hungry all the time? That sounds terrible.
-
No my hunger is too legit to quit
-
I'm ALWAYS hungry :(
-
That depends...WHY are you on a strict calorie count of 800?
-
I will check out the hungrygirl website though! My only issue is that my husband and I eat TOTALLY different so I really cant get too extravagant with my meals. The best I can do is change up the sides, which is why I usually do a simple meat and veg for meals. He HATES like, ALL vegetables.

Thanks...I am sort of doing a body recomposition because I have been eating at maintenance for awhile. I am very SLOWLY losing body fat while increasing my strength, but I already eat 6 times per day (or more)...unfortunately I've tried increasing my protein with each meal and it doesn't help. I'm already fairly hungry at…

Generally I eat a protein cereal with protein enhanced milk or an egg and sausage sandwich and coffee for breakfast; a protein and carb snack (usually a protein bar and veggies or fruit or a greek yogurt) and then for lunch a meat with vegetables and maybe my protein milk; then for a snack either fruit, a protein bar,…

my diary is open, so feel free to look. I get very BORED with food so it changes a lot, but I generally try to get at least 1 gram of protein per lb of lean body mass.
-
Oh, I also take amino energy for a pre-workout as well as a carby snack right before lifting. I also take fish oil, probiotics, and CLA each day.
-
Hmmm...the military doesn't eat like that. Just saying....have you seen what's in an MRE? Lol...

Usually when you have a binge eating disorder it seems to be because you're either eating too many processed foods, too many of the same foods, or not enough delicious foods to mentally satisfy you. You should always have a variety in your food. Forcing yourself to eat the same foods over and over again is just asking for…

I guess the way I see it is that I never plan to "maintain"...I always plan to gain muscle or lose fat...I don't ever not want to push myself to be better
-
I've been working out consistently for 4 years now. I've educated on myself on the correct ways to do things..and believe it or not, truly KNOWING and LEARNING how to actually do something makes you way more confident in your decisions....and also this ... :)

I do body recomp..but I do under calories the whole week and then a refeed on saturdays. Allows me to still gain strength and muscle while wittling away at my fat :)...This is just what works for me. Yes it DOES take MUCH longer this way than bulking and cutting, but I'm not okay with putting on fat for muscle. I already…

Shrimp! I can eat like 1200 thousand shrimp for 200 calories and get a zillion grams of protein and be totally sastisfied :D.. I buy 4 lbs of cocktail shrimp every time I go shopping. I used to have a bad sugar addiction, but ever since I pushed aside most processed foods (at least my trigger ones) I don't really crave or…

I dont get full unless I eat carbs! I'm also one of those people. Ketosis is BAD for your body and your brain. CARBOHYDRATES are important. Quest Cravings peanut butter cups are delicious and they have 20grams of protein in them >:)

I'm *sort of* cutting at around 1800. my maintenance is also 2300. I dont stress an exact amount because some days I'm just too hungry...but definitely protein and continue lifting. I'm still able to increase my strength, but I also still do a refeed every saturday.
-
I eat around 2600-3000 calories every saturday and it doesn't effect my weight loss at all..Is it just one day or are you eating that many cals for a whole week?
-
I HAVE to eat a carb + protein combo at least every 2 hours or so or I feel really sick...I get really low blood sugar. I'm not diabetic or anything, but I do heavy lifting for almost 2 hours each day so I utilize a lot of carbs. So I guess my opinion is more based on true hunger than "snacking" per say...since I'm…

And like the above poster said, muscle doesn't really "flatten" when you sit down, so you likely have some fat storage going on there too.
-
Um...I have huge thighs..like seriously...But I make them that way on purpose. Because muscular thighs are AWESOME..And they make me feel powerful, and let me lift heavy things...and intimidate men. Why don't you focus more on increasing the muscle in your upper body for balance? If you want to slim down in that area a…

It only burns more calories if it raises your heart rate higher. Generally running raises your heart rate more than walking because your cardiovascular load is increased. I would say that 6 mph is more of a jog anyway, but thats just my opinion.

You would be chugging like 16 bottles of water per day. I drink 8-10 to debloat and I'm insanely active. Lowering your salt intake and increasing your water intake is risking electrolyte imbalances, so be careful. Especially if you're very active.
-
If you had tapeworm you would be hungry ALL the time. If you haven't been eating raw foods, and you cook them properly then you don't have tapeworm. 3 lbs is a normal weight fluctuation. You aren't eating enough protein or fat probably (Looking at what you say you eat), and you're probably losing more muscle than fat. Add…

its ONLY temporary though and you cant do it long term

Yes, these cycles are generally done before a figure competition. You'll be dehydrated and feel a little cranky. Possibly have a headache...But its not going to kill you. If you have an even to go to make sure youre drinking a lot of water when you actually get there or you could feel really weak

Remind me never to go to vietnam XD....but seriously...I'm less than 24% body fat so its irritating that these things dont take into consideration muscle mass..
