I join MFP in May 11. I started my fitness journey last November. I have been slowly working on eating healthier over the last couple of years. I weighed 168 pounds at 5 foot 5 inches in November. I have steadily lost weight by improving my physical fitness and eating habit. I now weight 132 and my goal is 125.

I use an organic shampoo and conditioner along with coconut oil. Try using Morrocan Oil after washing and a leave-in conditioner, Mixed Chicks.

Research Newton Running Shoes. I have not tried them but have heard nothing but great comments about them. I run in Asics Gel Kayano which really provides support that I need.

They have great salads, in which a small/side is actually enough for two meals/leftovers. Their Greek salad is my favorite. I also love their hummus and pita. You can customize your own personal pizza (a small pizza is enough for two meals too) with fruits, veggies, and numerous other toppings.

A great website with information on raw food is Matt Monarch's www.therawfoodworld.com. It has a wealth of information. I eat pretty organic probably about 70/30. I am physically active (run about six days a week) and try to stick to plant base proteins.

Hi. You can add me. Great job on dropping those items from your diet. I cut out those same items and it really helped me to lose weight, exercise more, and overall feel healthy. Just stay motivated.
