  • I have a pretty large calf tattoo that happens to be Star Wars themed. I got it when I was 19, I'm 22 now. I will tell you I was just miserable for about a month after it with regret but once it healed and everything I realized how much I love it. I still love it because it means more than just Star Wars to me. Time will…
  • Just an aside here, your picture is a hedgehog! Porcupines, while still cute, are HUGE and their quills are super long. Still love you. Carry on.
  • I HATE Imagine Dragons. But their new song, Radioactive, I can't get out of my head. I love it. And I hate that I love it.
  • My coworkers did it a few months ago. I think one of them lost 15lbs but in the four months since has put on that and more. She was cranky and miserable the whole time she was on it.
  • I really don't see the appeal, I like being able to breathe.
  • I can eat high calorie because I'm bigger than most women. I'm 5'11'' for starters and I'm overweight so my calorie counts are higher. On workout days I eat over 2000 and I've lost 40lbs in 3.5 months. (stalled over the holidays but it's ok) If I don't work out I try to stay around 1800 for the day and this is what's been…
  • I'm 5'11'' so I have to lose more before you can tell. I've lost 40lbs and a clothing size and only recently started getting comments from friends and coworkers. I think it's more of a time thing, too. They say it takes 12 weeks for people to notice (that see you a lot)
  • I had barbies and never once used them as criteria for judging my own body. It's a doll...I think magazines are more damaging because they take real people and edit the pictures to unrealistic standards. A toy is a toy though. But if I have daughters and they're anything like me, they'll be too busy building lego houses…
  • Hippos kill more people than lions every year. They're scary. I do not like.
  • EDIT: I didn't read the last bit about TWLOHA.
  • I think it hurts business and as we are a capitalist consumer driven economy it could be bad. While I agree that you should be able to access information about nutrition and calorie counts for chains, I think it unnecessary to post such places as drive through windows. If you want the info, then do the legwork tog et it…
  • I've only lost 1/3 of the weight I want to lose so I don't know if it will change as I go but after losing 39lbs they haven't changed. I take measurements and I'm still 46 inches around but right underneath went from 42 to 40inches so technically my cup size and band size changed and it makes them seem bigger because my…
  • Ok. So I don't consider myself bisexual because there's a lot of heaviness involved with the label. I've dated women. I prefer women. However currently I am in a long term relationship with a man. So for all intents and purposes, I'm straight. I have never once told someone I'm bisexual even though technically I guess…
  • hahah that made me smile. Also if the trolling threads were only in chit chat then no one would ever take it seriously. And then what would I do during work?
  • I eat when I'm hungry. Which conveniently tends to be the same times every day. Or close enough.
  • I don't have a problem with crying kids, even though when I was little if I cried in public I got one warning and if I continued we left right then and there. Getting denied fun things made me stop that behavior real quick. However, I have lots of younger cousins and I understand children are difficult. Reason number…
  • Soooooooo I outweigh my boyfriend by about 95lbs right now (down from over 100 but he's losing weight pretty fast too right now). I worry a little bit because he's close to goal and I still want to lose quite a bit. Then again, I'm also close to 6' and he's only 5'4''...the first thing people notice about us as a couple is…
  • I think every time I'm out in public I say something to this effect to my bf haha. I'm six feet tall and not a dainty flower. It's not like you didn't see me there. And according to physics, I'm not the one moving haha.
  • My mom has Lupus. The medication for it is Prednizone, and Lupus is an auto-immune disorder. She's tired a lot of the time because her body is attacking itself all of the time. Prednizone is not expirimental, but it's not a cure, and it has nasty side effects (ie. liver failure) so my mom opted to try to control symptoms…
  • In Illinois the LAW says a child must be 12 to be home alone, and 13 to babysit a younger child. I don't have kids yet, but my mom didn't leave me and my brother alone until we were older because it would never cross her mind to not obey a law.
  • This for me too. I also have social anxiety disorder but that's a whole different ball game. I always feel much calmer and much better after a work out. Even if it's less intense than my usual.
  • I wear my HRM during my lifting because I wear it every time I go do any sort of workout. I only log about 1/3 of what my HRM says I burned for lifting because I'm afraid it's wrong.
  • Mine is open for my friend's only. Here's why: I don't need some stranger coming in and giving me unsolicited advice. I don't eat great all the time. But I also *know* that frozen dinners are not good for me, thanks for telling me again. It's not like I sit here whining about not losing weight....If I get to a point where…
  • HEre's my two cents, I've been around about three months, I post a lot, but not as much as some people who you see in every thread. When I first started here, I thought they were mean people. After reading a few threads I remember to get my head out of my a ss and not take sh it on the internet so seriously. Now it's just…
  • I stopped liking pink hair around when I got a real job. Now I see someone with obnoxiously colored hair and I immediately think they are either 16 (which was the last time it was cool to dye your hair) or unemployed. Is that a correct assumption to make all the time? No, I know don't judge a book and all that. But that's…
  • My grandma drinks it because her sister told her to. They both drink it because they have intestinal issues. I am trying to convince them they are nuts but they won't listen.
  • Oh man I was awful at 17. And I was fairly well behaved...didn't drink no drugs home by curfew. But my mom was kinda nuts. I had to call to check in every three hours because "no one can stay in the same place doing the same thing longer than that", my curfew was like 10 o'clock. I was mean, I would snap at her or walk…
  • I was tested for heart rate in conjuction with VO2 max which gave me a much more accurate reading of how many calories I burn per minute in certain HR zones. Then I plugged the zones into my HRM (which is a Polar RS300) and it knows that for HR zone one, 134-144 I burn an average of 8calories a minute, and so on....I round…
  • I'm 5'11'' on the nose. Definitely tall. My boyfriend is lucky to consider himself 5'4''. Definitely short. Depends on region/race/etc.
  • In my house, we celebrate Festivus anyway, so non-issue. Festivus for the rest of us.
