Not signed up for tough mudder yet as I wasn't sure if I'd be able to manage it... Great link... and I just changed my goal weight because of it! I'm 5"11 and I hate that I weigh more than lots of people who are the same size as me, but looking on there and seeing a girl at 155lbs being a size 8 made me realise that I just realistically can't go too low, and I'll look good at a higher weight than shorter…

I know you said your upper body strength is low, but you can start with some light dumbells and do exercises such as shoulder presses etc (there are plenty of great sites with dumbell workouts), before progresing up to barbells and higher…
