Tim Horton's everything bagel toasted with herb and garlic cream cheese, at around 420 calories. I used to have one 4-5 times a week for breakfast. I know it's not a huge amount like some have posted but it's indicative of how careless I was about calories and nutrients!

I'm such a make-up junky! I don't hold onto it though - I pass it along to my sister-in-law when I tire of it. My favourite brands are Bobbi Brown, Chanel, Stila, NARS, Sheseido and for a super-binge: e.l.f. And no matter how many mascaras I try I always go back to Maybelline Great Lash.

I totally agree with you. The idea that my husband finds me as sexy at 30 as he did when we were 17 makes me happy.

Edited because: I kind of suck at posting.

Way to go! Keep it up!

I plate all our food in the kitchen before bringing the plates to the table for our family, and then put whatever's left away. The only food I put out on the table is a big bowl of salad and veggie sticks for the kids (they don't like salad).

I live near a cfb so I get hit on by strangers all the time so it's nothing special to me. Sure, my husband tells me I look good if I ask, but I really relish the times when I come downstairs and his eyes get a little wide and he says "Wow. You look good". Then I know I really DO look good.

Why do parents dress baby boys in blue and baby girls in pink? Because they can't dress themselves! Man, did I think that joke was hilarious when I was 7.

Contract social worker - usually contracted for grant proposal writing, needs assessments and evaluation reports because I'm good at it and I enjoy it well enough. I prefer front-line work but the pay isn't as good. :)

I haven't noticed but, then again, I don't have any friends. :) I liked high school anyway. From stories I've heard about other high schools I went to an incredibly un-cliqued school.

I find Big Fat Gypsy Wedding so compelling. I, too, would like an update after, say, a year of marriage or whatever. One other thing that I find intriguing about the show is the willingness of the girls/women to appear on camera and the reluctance of the boys/men.

I can relate - I've had bronchitis for the past week which has included a trip to the ER for a ventolin nebulizer. I can't excercise so I've been trying to be pretty careful to stay within my 1200 calories. That has included eating a Mars bar and Doritos (hey, I'm also pms-ing).

I have OCD too... I recently started cognitive behavioural therapy which has made a huge difference in managing my brain (and time!). Not suggesting it's something for everyone, but being proactive in terms of managing OCD can make a serious impact on your physical health.

Eating what my friends are eating. I go out with friends 3 - 4 times a week and it's almost always over food or drinks. It's hard to be the only one not digging into the tray of apps!

I don't think that it's a compulsion - I think the human body desires to be active every day. Cardio every day (elliptical, walking as someone else suggested) is probably not harmful unless you are doing it to extreme excess. I don't believe strength training every day is recommended.

I'm also a stay-at-home mom and today I'm going to have two eggs, over-easy, two slices of whole wheat toast with light Cheez Whiz and baby cucumbers.

I like T-shape chest hair on men... no hair sweaters. I don't care about arm hair or leg hair, but ear, nose and unibrow hairs need to be trimmed. And, tidy business is important as well. Also, it makes you look huge! (See: She's Out of My League).

I just drove down to the US from Canada for the first time yesterday and was so overwhelmed by the choices and prices. Much of the prepackaged food was literally half the price as here. And alcohol was insanely cheap as well. I bought 18 bottles of beer for $13. That same case of beer here is $30 - which is part of why I…

Oh, good, I was wondering about this too. I have the same situation: over (by a lot) in protein and in fibre as well.

I enjoy pineapple Malibu with Sprite Zero. It's around 70 calories a drink though. I've no idea if that's considered low calorie for liquor!

When my son was 4 he wanted a cookie for a snack. I wanted him to have either an apple or a banana, so I said, "No, you can't have a cookie. Would you like a cookie or a cookie?" To which he, of course, said "I want a cookie". I said again, "No. You can have a cookie or a cookie". Finally my husband rescued the poor kid by…

I had half of a Dempster's everything bagel with light herb and garlic cream cheese. Yum. Oh, and also a 1% chai latte.

Ha ha! That's awesome.

Bulletproof by La Roux is fun and upbeat. I like Pop goes the World by Gossip for working out too. Also, Rhianna is pretty fun.
