Hi everybody, I just joined MFP on Sunday. I'm 57 and trying to lose 20 pounds. My eating is pretty much under control, but I have to exercise more regularly. :blushing: So my June goal is to walk at least 2 miles 5 or 6 days a week along with staying within my calorie goal of 1,200 calories per day.

Hi, I'm older too—57. I just joined MyFitnessPal yesterday. I really like that the calorie counter also tracks carbs. I have Type 2 Diabetes and really the carb count is more important to me that the calorie count. I have fallen off of the exercise wagon.
