  • Accept my apology for my poor grammer!
  • Very insightful reading! Since starting on this site, I cut back on my diet sodas (2 each day). I just decided to try drinking iced tea instead of diet pop because I always knew the soda made me feel hungry and a bit shakey. I think the diet pop told my body that I was really hungry. Now I don't crave carbs at all. I still…
  • I broke up with Dr. Pepsi, and am now in a committed relationship with my bike.
  • I too go over on sugars and protein. As long as I am sticking to the calorie count, I don't pay much attention to it. Cereal and fruit send me over the limit on sugar, but I'm not too concerned about it. MFP reports are very interesting to me, and I like to track my sodium and other nutritional intake. • I like to grill my cauliflower. Cut it into small even pieces, toss it in some olive oil, put it in parchment paper or aluminum foil. Add onions, pepper, and slices of lemon. It's delicious.

  • Biking is my exercise of choice too! I'm not sure if it matters, but it's hard to compare not knowing if it's hilly or not. I would think the faster you go the more calories you are burning. But if you are going slow and it's hilly you are burning a lot of calories! It depends on the terrain. Just keep on biking!!

  • The first couple of days are the toughest! Hang in there. I like to have a bowl of shredded wheat cereal with fruit when I get home from work. Then I exercise after I feel full to gain back some calories.
  • check out the site in the recipes area that is dedicated to wraps. there are some great breakfast wrap ideas there. breakfast is tough! i try and bring something to work with me and eat it at my office mid morning so that i don't binge the rest of the day.
  • I am getting up several times a night from drinking iced tea instead of diet soda too!
  • McCann's Steel Cut Oatmeal at Trader Joe's, and by the way........I am not a big fan of oatmeal, but it works for me.
  • I like to make a big batch and put them in individual ziplock containers or baggies and freeze them. I add a hand full of fresh blueberries before I freeze them and when I warm it up in the microwave it makes for a hearty breakfast. Any other fruit would do as well, and freezing it makes for a quick meal when i am feeling…
