My goal each week is to walk a mile 5 times per week. Time is a major issue with work, kids and some family drama. But I will commit to doing an extra 5 miles this week, somehow. It may mean 1.5 miles a day and I might need to go 6 days, but I will somehow do it!

8/7: 237 Changed weigh-in day to Sunday for a challenge I am in, so I figured I would just do it consistently everywhere. Down 3 lbs this week!!

Weigh-in Day: down to 237-a 3 lbs. loss. Glad today is an "off" day, although I do like the suggestion that Sundays be used as a make up day if you couldn't get your challenge in during the week. Congratulations to everyone on their hard work this week! Big loss, little loss or no loss; we got through this together!

Lunges done Water done Exercise really done! Went to an amusement park today and chased teenagers from ride to ride. No big deal if they just rode the rides in order. But they go from one end of the park to the other and back to do the rides in the order the kids want. I'm exhausted but it was a lot of fun!

I did pushups today (tomorrow I will do the up downs-sorry I read the challenge incorrectly!), drank all my water plus some and stayed under calorie goal today! Those things I can control. The rest of my life was crazy today! Hope everyone else had a better day than I did!

Oh, no!! I did the pushups today instead of the up/downs!! I was so proud of myself for doing them (a set of 5 every time I went to the bathroom-must have done at least 50 today!) Thanks for the modification! It was what I had planned to do, more or less, anyway as I am not nimble enough to do it the way the video shows. I will promise to try to get down to the floor and back up as much as possible and then go to the modifications.

23 ounces is pretty darn close to 3 glasses! I count the ounces and convert to glasses with 1 glass being 8 ounces. I think you may have been shorting yourself there! Good luck on your journey!

Bump. I'm not quite ready yet, but getting there. and I don't really want to be out in the street where people I know will see me. I have a hard enough time just walking in the neighborhood still. (I do it anyway, but am very self-concious.)

The hard part is not eating them in the beginning. Once you have gone a few days without the "junk", it gets easier. (At least a little!)
