It's been a crazy few days, but I have been making better (not great!) choices. Traveling for work and eating out all the time is challenging! But I did get fruits and veggies every day and drank at least 8 glasses of water. And best of all, I am down 2.3 lbs!

Day 3 Under calories-too far under really. 12 hour days will do that! 9 water did the exercises walked my mile. And I posted it on the google doc. Don't want YaYa coming to get me!
-
Day 2: Did the exercises. Drank 10 glasses of water walked 1.25 miles for walk challenge not quite under calories though. I did log everything!
-
Exercises done 10 glasses of water only got about 1/4 mile in walking due to weather conditions, but I did get out there! Under in calories. Hope everyone had a good day! And I posted the results in the google doc.

Did my exercises this morning, but it's raining, so no walk right now. It's supposed to clear up, so maybe I will try at lunchtime. Have a great day everyone!

Starting weight is 235.8. I will do the enthusiasm series of exercises and I will attempt the evening walk challenge. Thanks for all your work!

You have done an amazing amount of work on this! Thank you!

Hi Everyone! My name is Maureen. I've been with MFP since June-so my anniversary is coming up too! I did great in the beginning, losing 50 lbs in 6 months. But then came the holidays, the first anniversary of my Mom's death, and worst of all, tax season. (I work for a large tax preparation firm.) While I have not gained…

Bump. All I Want to Do by Sugarland is a good warm up for me.

For me, especially when I know I am not hungry, I make a deal with myself to just wait 20 minutes, and if I still want it (whatever "it" is) I can have it. If I want more, it's another 20 minute wait. Usually helps at least cut down on the stuff I am eating.

My son had it when he was 16-no further problems. My sister has had it just about every 5 years, which is not all that uncommon. They were both up and walking the same day, using a brace but no crutches. Of course they are crazy, but they were doing it! And both of them said the relief they got from it was wonderful. There…

That is the best Christmas gift you could ask for! I am so happy for you.

Thursday: Fruits and veggies were good-mixed fruit, corn, broccoli and potato. Did another 75 pushups and 30 crunches and walked about a mile. Today is Friday-I know I will get in the fruits and veggies-mixed fruit for breakfast, I'll have a salad for lunch and asaragus, broccoli, beets and carrots for dinner. I did 30…

The other challenge weighs in tomorrow, so I will-but I checked today and I lost another 3 lbs for a grand total of 50 (that's right FIFTY) pounds lost since June 1. And I started measurements in July-in those 6 months I have lost a total of 22.5 inches!

Tuesday got in plenty of fruits and veggies (broccoli, fruit salad, carrots, salad) did another 50 pushups (my arms are starting to hurt) and walked about 1 mile. It was a busy day, and I was doing a lot of driving. But I did NOT stop at Burger King for lunch, I waited until I could get back to the office to eat my salad!…

Did 50 pushups! OK, they were modified (against a wall), but that is more than I have ever done!! Also got in 30 crunches (I don't like them!) Forget the JJ! Knees are uncomfortable with the changes in the weather. I walked 1.5 miles today and think I did fairly well with the rainbow-2 servings of fruit salad…

Way to go team!! If we are going to focus on one of the exercises, I vote for push-ups or crunches. Those can easily be done at home. JJ are hard on my knees, and my ceilings are really low. When we did them before, I would go outside. But we got snow today, and I don't think it's a good idea to do them on ice! We can do…

You are doing a great job! Keep working at it!

Got called into work! Hope I am not too late! I lost 1 lb this week (down to 214). I was over fiber and protein every day (those protein meal bars are great for that!). I did 15 minutes of yoga daily (which I still look very silly doing!) and did at least 30 minutes of cardio every day. I did 45 min. or more 3 times this…

Sorry-I know we promised to keep in touch here. It's been a crazy week, although I lost 3 lbs! 3 more to go to reach 50! Really trying to focus this week. It will help that I only have to work one night this week, I will be home for dinner every other night. I hope everyone is staying strong and taking care of themselves!

Monday: water at 72 oz. 15 min yoga complete, along with 30 min. of cardio. Made protien and fiber too. Tomorrow is a 13 hour day-but I am leading a 3 hour class in the morning and again in the evening, so I will be moving around a lot, plus I will try to sneak out for 30 minutes to go for a walk. I am near the ocean and…

Hi Everyone! I lost 3 lbs this week! I'm down to 215!! I will get my calcium in today, and I did my burpees, bicycles, lifts,21's and swimmer's presses. I am starting to enjoy some of those calesthenics. (Spelling doesn't count here!) I am going to an outdoor mall today, and will be walking around for hours, so my…

I have been having all kinds of challenges with my computer-and my time! I did make my calcium at 75% or more every day with the help of a supplement. I did find that oranges had lots of calcium too! I did my burpees every day, along with leg lifts, bicycle crunches,21's and swimmer's presses on alternate days. those I…

Did my 20 burpees (modified to squat/pushup/squat/pushup). I also did 50 bicycle crunches, 30 donkey kicks and 20 leg lifts. My legs hurt now! Tomorrow, I will do some exercises for upper body and we will see how it goes. I also got in a 15 minute walk today. The calcium will be a bit of a challenge. I am lactose…

Steroids are awful! And they taste bad from what my kids tell me! Glad your back is feeling a little better. Make sure you take it easy and build up to intense workouts!

It's our 6th in a row (except in 2010 when he didn't tour.) We got to a lot of concerts, but this is the only one where I get a t-shirt! Next year's show will have me in an XL (or dare I dream a L) instead of the XXL or XXXL!

We all worked really hard this week, and it's progress. My goal for this week is to survive it! My boss (he runs the pilot program that is my new job) is located out of state and is coming for a visit. Which means 2 days of meetings (and lunch and dinner with the team daily), then I have a full day networking event (at…

Today's check in: I know it's early, but I have a busy afternoon and may not have a chance to check in tomorrow morning to get my numbers in. I lost 2 lbs. (218 now-bye bye 20's!). I have in 48 oz water so far today, and I know I will get over 100 today and tomorrow (I'm teaching for 6 hours, so I tend to drink a lot and…
