Hi everyone! Good luck in this month's challenge! August was tough, but from Aug. 1-31, I lost 9 lbs and 5"! My starting weight for this is 231. Water in, calories under. I actually did the 3 mile walk with the Exercise Channel. Never did I think I could do that! I wasn't able to do all the kicks and moves all the time but I never stopped moving. Got very hot and sweaty, but was quite proud of myself! I will post my final weight tomorrow.

Got my water in and was under in calories. I couldn't do all of the exercises and not without breaks, but it was a vast improvement from when we started. I did the counts, but some were in sets. But each set was double what I could do in the beginning! Have a great night everyone!

A trainer explained it to me this way: if it came straight from the ground/tree or had a face/beak, it is "clean". Anything else is processed.

Today I went to the Country Music Festival and danced for at least 5 hours!

Kenny Chesney concert was fantastic!! And we danced all night long!! (Burned off the calories from the Mike's Hard Lemonade!) Also did my 55 ab crunches and walked an extra mile (about 1/2 mile from the parking lot to the stadium and back again after the show). I was under calories, but did not get all my water in…

I got my water in and was under calories (a bit low today but was barely under several times this week.). Did my 55 ab crunches (darn things are getting to be a habit!) then put away propane tanks, grills, spare tires, trash barrels and anything else that might fly around the yard. I did it and have lost about 10 lbs so far. I haven't checked measurements yet, but the pants I bought 6 weeks ago are really loose and they were snug when I bought them. The challenge really worked for me...I think because of the daily accountability and the team mentality.

Water in and under calorie goal. I did the sets of 21's and the swimmer's presses, along with the 55 crunches and for some reason I did 20 modified windshield wipers and 3 sets of leg lifts. Under calorie, and got all my water in. Did my 55 crunches and walked an extra mile for the team challenge. Did the woodchops and 50 toetouches. The jumping all over the place is making my knees scream in protest!

My nieces have gone there for parties (or at least a group went for someone's birthday!) and LOVED it!! My daughter, who is 19, loves to go with the and "help". (She really wants to build her own bear!) Don't know prices, but it was a lot of fun for everyone!

Today I did the windshield wipers, the presses and the 21's. For some reason I also did 50 crunches-I guess it's getting to be a habit. Applebee's had the Assiago Steak with grilled veggies and grilled potatos that was fantastic and less than 400 calories. (Leaves a little room for dessert!) 8/21: 232 (3lbs this week) I have now lost a total of 30 lbs since joining MFP! People are noticing and I feel really good, physically and mentally. I hope everyone had a great week!

YIPPEE!! Down 3 lbs for a total of 30!! My goal when I started in late May/early June was to lose 30 lbs before my cruise, and we don't leave for another 2 weeks!! I am so excited! I really think this challenge has helped me and held me accountable. Thanks for all of your support and encouragement!

I took it fairly easy today, did my 50 crunches and the two mile walk, drank 8 glasses of water and was under calories for the day. Let's hope all this hard work pays off tomorrow!

Under in calories, 13 glasses of water, 50 ab crunches, 50 toe touches, 50 push ups and 3 sets of 21's. I'm going to have to add some weight to the 21's soon as they are becoming much easier.
