ABSOLUTLEY. I feel 100% comfortable being 100% naked in front of him! And he feels the same way!

I agree, and I'm a current omnivore that was VEGAN for 4 years. I have no problem eating meat now, after a lot of soul-searching.....I highly respect those that choose not to, however! It's a lovely, respectable lifestyle.

Wow..very cool!!!! Thanks!

Added you back, nice to meet you!! :flowerforyou: I really do need to do better on eating back my exercise calories.
-
Hmmmm.....I might have to try that! Thanks! If Jillian suggests it, it can't be bad, right?! Thanks!

Most days I eat 3 meals a day, although my breakfasts are usually a little, um...light. I'm not a big morning eater :) I know that's something I need to change!! Thank you so much for your input!! It will definately be put to good use.

This is so awesome!

Hallo there!! :drinker: Nothing wrong with bein' a bit smug!

No, I don't think it's sad at all. It's all in how you look at it. I think it's terribly refreshing to hear people with kids being HONEST and telling others that children are hard, hard, work. Those people who say they wouldn't do it again aren't sad, they should be applauded for making the best out of their situation AND…

I think 'selfish' in this case needs to be used very loosely, and I agree with you that it's a VERY adult decision to do what is right FOR YOU regardless of what others say. As far as not finding a life partner - you will, I'm positive of it! I always thought I'd never find someone who would truly 'get me' and that I could…

Hahaha! I hear you there!

Oh my heavens, I NEED that shirt....hahahaha!!!!

YAY FOR FUR BABIES!!! Partner and I are proud mama and daddy to 3 Mini Schnauzers, a giant ole Rottie, and a Corn Snake. We adore them!

You know, I very often say the same thing - I'm too 'selfish'......I use that term loosely, because I'm not so sure the word is correct for simply knowing what you want in life. And honestly - I'm not ashamed of being 'selfish'. HECK, I'm PROUD to say that I am! I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Nope, sure…

Muwahahahaha

Oh my goodness, me too!! Everyone at my workplace that's my age or older has kids or is raising their grandkids (ahem...), so small talk is sorely limited. Currently the only person at work that doesn't want to talk kids and after-school activities is the 18 year old highschool volunteer. Sigh. She's pretty cool though,…

True, so very true!!!!

That is SUCH a good idea!!! Thanks!! Nice to meet you, btw! :flowerforyou:

It's almost like it's expected to follow the 'norm' in the south......grow up, get married, have 2.5 kids, be a housewife.....all that :)
-
Nice to meet you! I could go on and on about the fact that society makes you feel like you're not 'truly a woman' unless you have children sometimes. There's a LOT of things that make me a VERY strong, independent, kick - butt woman and having a kid isn't one of them! Kudos to those who choose to do so, but I'm just sayin!

LORINA!! :drinker: I didn't know you'd been a vet tech! Small world! My whole life people have been telling me I'll change my mind too - "When you're 20.....30...... ( and probably 40 and right before menopause, haha) " , "When you find the right one...." (to this I say, I've found the right one - and still no change,…

My motto: Everything in moderation! It's the only way that I can stick to my goals. Once I feel like I'm depriving myself of something, I completely lose interest (and I've deprived myself a LOT in the past!) Now that I'm mindful of calories, and don't put anything off limits - I'm seeing results!! Granted, I try to limit…

YOU = MY HERO. You look great, dear! P.S. I adore your signature ;)

I disagree with the statement that if it is a fracture you wouldn't be able to put weight on it. About a year ago I turned my foot while walking my dog - immediate pain and slight swelling, but I could put weight on it ( not a whole lot, but I could if I had to ). Xrays showed I had what is called a 'dancer's fracture'.…

Absolutely fantastic! I'd love to do something like this, I wish one was being hosted near me at some point. You did a great job - I'm totally jealous :) (I'm diggin the homage to Scotland....my heritage also. You channelled your inner warrior very well! )
-
LISALOO85: I will definately do that! How love have you been a technician? We need to talk! :)
-
I'm quite the lush .... I've been trying to cut back but man, I just like my Jack and Ckaptain too much, haha! I blame it on my Scot-Irish heritage, haha! :drinker: Nice to meet everyone!

Kentucky, here!
