You can get started with: 1. Adjustable dumbbells. 2. Add a resistance band w/ door attachment for 'pull ups' if you're really serious. Add a bench if you want.

Business is business. I would not have mentioned it at all until I'd given notice.

hmm. I knew it all along. Weight lifting doesn't do anything :) If Leg day is easy then you're doing it wrong.

Welcome aboard. MFP really doesn't do any work, you/we do the work. Find a few supportive friends, open up your food diary and get to work :) On the numbers/calorie goals the MFP sets, they're not bad for a start. But there are better methods you can use once you're on your way.

Yep. You know the answer, why ask the question.

Jar Jar is that you?

I'll take most of Thanksgiving week off. No sense in making my MNL feel like they made the wrong stuff for a family gathering. I'll be hitting in hard the week prior and will prolly try to fast on wednesday.

4 months of dedication!!! fantastic results.

Well I'm about 17% BF and I think I'm fat. I think I'm fat because my GOAL is abs which means I need to be around 12% BF. Perhaps she's simply not at her goal.

I try to stay under 150 M-F. I'm off the hook on weekends.

sorry i turned out after coming to the conclusion that HE OWNS YOU.

My 9 yo is 5' even, about 115 lbs and seems a bit chubby. He's currently in Fall Soccer (competed 5 years), just tried out for basketball (competed 4 years) and will roll into fast pitch baseball (5 years again) in the spring. I've been his team coach all the way. Just make the decision to get him active, he'll follow and…

Well IMO is not High Protien/Low Carb. You're protien macro stays where it needs to be; it's steady. You're eating either High Fat/Low Carb or Low fat/High Carb. The body needs either fat or carbs for energy. If you're doing High protien/low fat/low carb you're seriously stressing your body and soon you'll be complaining…

Welcome. Get yourself a nice set of cross trainer shoes and hang on for the ride. I've done 2+ rounds and still do one occasionally for cardio. Feel free to add me. Insanity is easy to start, just push play and try to keep up :)

I've been known to hit a few doubles. I always have to increase cals specifically carbs to cover the extra workout. The purpose of my doubles (HIIT) is to increase endurance and cardio recovery for sports. Really don't know enough about your diet and goals....

Good luck on the smoking, I hear it can be quite challenging. Overall your plan doesn't look bad ASSUMING that you have some warm up sets that aren't on the list. My warm up suggestions are: use 30-40% of working weight. it's just a warm up. the goal is to prevent injury. Chest Day - add a few sets of push ups Back Day -…

Do you have the Insanity Deluxe version? That comes with a great upper body weight workout. I settled on Rushfit as my after Insanity workout. 45 min workouts including the warm up and cool down! As you mentioned P90X would be great. Sounds like you're close to your goal so do the classic schedule. The gym. Check out the…

Yep T25 isn't for the faint of heart. Keep hitting it. Nearly any program should still be difficult even towards the end. After all the goal is simply to push as hard as you can (in your current condition). Feel free to add me.

Those are some solid results. You've earned your t-shirt! Do both the Pure Gamma followed by the Pure Strength hybird and post some more pics. You did rock it :)

ibuprofen and keep pushing.

I use MFP a bit differently than most. I'm currently doing Rushfit and log the time of the workout with 1 cal burned. My 1800 cal/day target is actually the minimum I eat everyday. I try to land somewhere between 2000-2300. I rarely see the 'Mark was under his calorie goal message' :) A few friends go the HRM route of…

Squats and lunges are awesome exercises even with just body weight. But .... If you're looking for spot reduction, there's no such thing. Diet for fat loss.
-
I enter my circuit training and log 1 cal burned. Well on leg day I go to 4 cals since I really hate leg day :)
-
The fitness model in the pic did not use an ab belt to get ripped. He worked hard and ate at a deficit to get his BF low. IMO these things are sold by peoples desire to 'spot reduce'. Sweat, effort and discipline are the best tools for fitness.

Yup. Doing this for myself.

Insanity - Yes it's worth it. You'll lose weight through out the program if you eat correctly. My visible results really came in the 2nd month. Anyone can do Insanity, you push play and then try to keep up. My fav workout was the Upperbody strength training from the deluxe package. Lots of people seem to love 'Pure Cardio'…

The hike in and out to the stand counts. Sitting in the stand doesn't.

Expensive compared to what? Water and crackers? 10 hours of personal training time? Gym memberships and waiting on equipment? I'm NOT a coach. I don't buy their sups, but the workouts are a solid value.

Salmon, Salami, cheese. typical keto style foods. Keep in mind that you don't need to be zero carb. If you can keep your carbs between 50-100 and workout while eating at a deficit the lbs melt away.

Trust me. You're not the first person to skip a workout, intentional or not. Cardio Abs isn't bad at all and is doable stacking w/ Pure Cardio. Stay on track. It's NOT the individuals workout that gives you results, its consistently working out. Stay on plan.
