MY trip to the fair comes up in another week. Eating big! Just get back on track.

Nope. I don't log throwing pallets of sod either. It's just part of my daily activity. Granted it was a hard day, but it was just a chore or my honey do list.

The goruck challenge has a 6 week training program on it's main page. I typically like to separate my strength and cardio days, but in the Army it was basically 30 mins of calisthenics then run 3+ miles. Do the workouts you NEED to improve your strength now. I liked the upper/lower eccentric alot. Take a look at the phase…

Wow. Who woke this one up? The girl didn't cheat. She successfully executed a fad diet to extremes. There's no magic supplement, her weight loss was eating 500 cals/day. Just accept that the 'favorite' didn't win and move on.

Not the same as "lifting heavy" at all. http://www.shape.com/fitness/workouts/pump-fiction

+1. HIIT twice a week

I typically limit myself to spirits when drinking out. Have 2 or 3 enjoy the conversation. Holiday's are all about portion control. Eat all the protein and half of the carbs that Mom puts on your plate, then say you're full :) In about an hour have a piece of pie/desert and tell her how good it is. She'll forget that you…

You have the support of your spouse and he's a trainer/coach as well! It's okay to accept a little hep from those who love you.

+1.Eat the one you enjoy the most.

Nothing interesting for me. Log food & lift. Throw in a little HIIT on Tues/Th. I agree that we're all a bit different, but I did discover that you can't out train poor nutrition.

I'm 6'1" and hide weight really well. People noticed around 20 lbs.

Asylum-1 is just plain crazy! I think you'd see better & faster results from Asylum. The Strength workout in Asylum reminds me of the Insanity Upper body workout. T25 does add some weights in Beta so you can't really discount it. I find myself doing more weights and throwing in the occasional T25 ot HIIT workout on cardio…

mix in a scoop of protein powder in your oatmeal. add a shake as an afternoon or evening snack.

Yep. My youngest is still there...

+1 ^^^ All Natural doesn't mean 'effective' :) Does the trainer sell the pills?

Anything I want. Not working out either....

Sales campaign targeted at big girls. Be Brave buy our stuff ....

I'd expected 80+ grams of protein from ~ 1500 cals. Hey McD were'd the protein go? Removed during processing?
-
Hope I'm not too late.. 20%-23%

Both nutrition and exercise depend on willpower and discipline.

Everyone is a bit different. Insanity is actually a full body calisthenic program! From memory the workout flow is: 9-10 min warmup - pace yourself here. 5 min stretch 25 min circuit workout 5 min stretch I took the push play and try to keep up approach. Never paused the dvd. Simply did the best I could do that day. The…

That's me right here. Being overweight tips the scales toward HBP and metabolic syndrome. Which in turn drives up my medical insurance premiums. It'll be worse under Obamacare. Do you think it was healthy peps trying to sign up for the last few weeks?

Carb cycling right? http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1057636-chris-powell-carb-cycling?hl=carb+cycle I eat high carbs MWF on training days. Low carb on TTh cardio days. Not trying to loose weight, just minimize fat gain while gaining.

Good luck with your totally science backed magic formula.

You'll get a few marathon vs. sprint quotes soon ... I'm willing to bet that you've sacrificed muscle mass for weigh loss. Great job on the rapid 25 lbs. lost. Now try to slow things down a bit. Cardio will make you look good in your clothes, but weight lifting will make you look good neeked.

My dinners usually come in around 700-1000 cals. Don't worry about it. Plan ahead, budget your calories. Remember that restaurants are not in business to sell nutrition they sell FOOD that taste good/great.

I'm in mostly. Was planning to carb cycle. How about cycling sugar? One day all HFCS, next day cycle in a box of little debbie's. It's like a small reward for avoiding sugar the day before. I need my rewards.
-
I record the workout type and log 1 or 2 cals burned.

I think the point of most of these replies is simply to 'check your ego' and get started. Get started is the hardest part. You'll see improvements fairly quickly. After all there is a reason it's called WORKing out.

Nearly any home fitness workout will get the job done. I did two rounds of Insanity and saw great results (40+ lbs lost). But in the end I realized that it's really about nutrition/deficit. Insanity isn't a magic bullet, the weight doesn't melt off UNLESS you do the work AND practice discipline during mealtime.
