I keep eyeing the Nutella at Costco, but couldn't justify buying it until now...

Well, I only count my at-home form practice, so I always just put it in at "tai chi."

We'll be trying these soon...

My gut reaction is that personally I don't really care how much ANYONE (male or female) eats. But when i was still dating, I think I was always a little suspicious if a girl didn't eat anything when we went out to dinner. I'd rather have her feel comfortable enough that she could just be herself and eat what she wanted.…

Nut/seed butters (my wife & I use almond, sesame seed, and cashew butters) Kashi Go-Lean Crunch (one serving is 9 grams of protein, 1-1/2 times more than an egg) Smoothies with protein powder Beans (I know this may sound weird, but we started it after my wife read The 30-Day Diabetes Miracle, and know we look forward to…

Thanks for sharing! I may try these with Enger-G egg replacer to make them vegan...

If you don't mind spending the money, I have second the recommendation for ChaLEAN Extreme. My wife actually bought it and I decided to do it with her, not really expecting anything fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised and think it's a great program, On days when I don't have anything else planned, I still pop in one of…

To each his own, I guess, but I don't see it. I really don't think she's that attractive on her own merits, and I think there are lot of fitness instructors out there who are much hotter.

Although I would agree with this, I'm sure there are more militant types that would argue... Of course, a lot depends on WHY you became vegan. If you're doing it because you DO have an allergy to milk/eggs, it would probably be a good idea to avoid those foods. Although lots of people will give you "the rules," Megan,…

I totally agree with this. First of all, I always thought "The Biggest Loser" is cruel, and have a hard time feeling that anyone associated with that show is serious about helping people lose weight; they are just interested in making television. Jillian is really obnoxious, and doesn't seem to be smart enough to grasp how…

I'll join the chorus: C25K. My wife and I have been doing a variation called "Pooch to 5K" (running a 5K with your dog). I got a HIIT timer app on my Android so that the timing of the run/walk cycles isn't a problem. And there's nothing that says you have to follow the program slavishly. My wife tends to get winded during…

My wife and I like So Delicious coconut milk yogurt.

Congrats!

I agree that 340 calories for breakfast isn't that bad. Having said that, there's a lot more wrong with Burger King/fast food than just the calorie counts, so be sure not to make it a habit. But once in a while isn't anything to beat yourself up over. On the other hand, if you are feeling this guilty about eating BK, try…

Okay, today I tried day one of the BeFit in 90 Days program on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/befit It was about 35 minutes long (I think that's about how long most of them are) and I though it was a pretty good workout. I recommend it!

As of this coming August 31, I will officially have been the happiest and luckiest man on the planet for 10 years. For the record, we knew each other for about 2 years before that, and lived together for just over a year of that time.

Teagan, our 5-year-old cockapoo, gets a combination of Nutro dry and the FreshPet Select refrigerated food (we switch back and forth from the rolls to the bagged nuggets). He like the FreshPet so much that web tried just giving him that, but he seems to prefer a little bit of crunch to his meals, so we went back to mixing.

Plenty of us! Check for "vegetarian" under the groups section!

You can either change it (as others have suggested) or ignore it (which is want I do). When was originally having the same concern, I asked my doctor about it. His reply was, "Look, if you eat nothing by protein, that can be really dangerous. But it sounds like your diet is pretty balanced, so I wouldn't worry about it.…

How's this for a useless bit of recipe jiggling? With McDonalds showing the commercials, I actually thought it might be nice to have one of those "Shamrock Shakes" for St. Patty's Day. So I came up with this vegan mock version. The whole thing came to 150 calories, but my wife & I actually split one for 75 each: 1 cup 365…

What a difference! Keep it up; you look great!

I've loved everything I've made from http://fatfreevegan.com/ I haven't yet tried http://vegweb.com/, but some of the recipes look really interesting!

Thanks for sharing; this sounds great & I can't wait to try it!

My wife does a combination of the Daiya mozzarella shreds and Galaxy Nutritional Parmesan sprinkles. I haven't had any complaints; in fact, I look forward to our pizza nights!

Try setting minigoals at closer intervals, so that you can get some earlier successes. Also, make sure to use (and watch) your tracker so that you can see your progress. For me, it also helps to break it down to see what you've done. For instance, looking at your tracker, do you realize that you are already over 10% of the…

Very mixed feelings. First of all, it seems kind of gimmiky to me. And although I agree that you can "afford" pizza and bagels if you work out regularly, I don't think someplace that should be promoting a healthy lifestyle should necessarily be OFFERING those foods. I agree with LorinaLynn that they aren't "demon foods,"…

My wife and I love the stuff. We buy the big bag @ Costco. We've been using it for breakfast cereal (cooked with almond milk, vanilla, and dried fruit). This week my wife also got a recipe from The Vegan Slow Cooker for Spanish Quinoa, which is fantastic. We're currently looking for more new ways to try it.

Great job! So, are you done and cruising into Maintenance-ville?

Another one that we've had GREAT results from (no matter which recipes we've tried so far) is "Vegan Slow Cooker." Want to set something up and have a healthy dinner ready when you get home? This is the book for you!

My wife is a serious cookbook addict; she can't seem to own enough. One that she got for Christmas is "Vegan Comfort Food" (I think the author is Alice Simpson). It's a VERY basic vegan cookbook; you might want to check it out. It includes recipes for veggie mac n cheese, homemade veggie burgers, sandwiches, etc.
