  • I'm interested. I think my profile is public.
  • I totally relate. I am 46, have a husband and three children, 8,4, and 2 years old. But I must nonetheless focus on getting healthy, because I have gained even more in the last two years since having my third! I think I weigh about 212 pounds. I'm aiming to lose 1/2 pound per week. And maybe a pound if I get good at it.…
  • And calfun5, you're already ahead of the game just because you're TRYING. I don't know if you've ever experienced lethargy, but it takes work to get out of it. Let's keep going together!
  • Thanks, Lisa!
  • Those are good ideas, folks, thanks! How do I REMEMBER to implement those when the stress starts. I get stressed over packing, for instance. I try to stop and breathe and sometimes call a friend, however the stress returns as soon as I'm done breathing or talking or listening. And I do not know why I told myself, again,…

  • Hi, I'm Maria. I am a SAHM in DC w/DH and three young children. I feel very challenged when it comes to eating healthy. I have hip displacement, so I don't exercise, yet. I'm looking to explore my dependence on chocolate to cope with stress and how not to let my hidden emotions result in binges. I find managing children…
  • If I go to bed I am not up watching TV and eating! And if I floss and brush I can have teeth for when I do eat!
  • This coming Sunday is 2.23.14. My goal for that week will b 2 floss and brush ea night b4 bed and to go to bed. I'm going to check it off in my Good Habits app so I can easily track my 21 days of consistency (to build a lifetime habit.) ( I also track my No Sweets goal there, but I am rethinking that.)
  • I love my 1. Love for The Lord 2. Determination 3. Helpfulness To b more succinct. I'd add 4. Beauty - but beauty fades, so I find it hard to list.
  • Wow! Thanks Benny! I had never even given this any thought! Even though I hv been doing two things I love about myself that speak to - loving yourself! FLY in FLYlady stands for FINALLY LOVING YOURSELF. And Jesus teaches me to love myself just because God loved me first! Still, until I read your post, I didn't think of…
  • Wow!! Praise God u made it! I am so glad for u! I am about same, 206-210, and honestly, logging is about as much trying as I muster. I have three children, 6, 2 and 1 yr olds. I intend to do better eating, just haven't yet. I hope to take care of a hip problem and get into regular exercise.
  • i hope all who worked on their bfl program last year found success in it. i like it because of the bfl journal. i like the pre-printed space for planning what i will eat, planning exercise, planning to be nice to someone! i have started and stopped every time i tried it. i don't think i can start it right now with any…

  • God bless you and your hubby. May the Lord get rid of the illness of your little girl right away! Don't beat yourself up. Forgive yourself the way God forgives us so much. This is what we want our children to do for themselves also, no beating up, forgiveness. Plus it will be erased in likely 7 days of eating right and…
