I keep track on my android phone...it is super easy and after about a couple of weeks of doing every day (you mentally have you remember for a while)-it becomes habit. COMMITT TO IT!!! One tip I would give you would be to purchase a kitchen scale and ALWAYS measure everything out-
-
um,mmmmmmm you may have just saved my life!
-
Thanks everyone....I was wanting to make sure that I was on the right track-and it sounds like I am. I can't wait to do my first 5k!
-
I was doing the same thing-I'm 5"1 and I was eating 1200 a day....I was always hungry no matter what. I stepped it up to 1600 calories a day and have been losing inches on my waist and also notice my face and neck is thinner.... but haven't noticed a change on the scale. So don't LIVE by the scale. Seriously......only…
-
keep in mind when you weight train you are adding muscle.....so that could be why you aren't losing the weight on the scale.... are you clothes feeling looser? Don't like by the scale....!!
-

Rue 21 clothes-shrink way to easily and don't fit me right..... I have had a great deal of luck @ American eagle but am also a huge fan of JcPenney-they have great selections is lots of sizes....and are ususally pretty cheap.... and Kohls!

Lean Dessert-they have Chocolate Fudge Pudding, Whipped Vanilla, Cinnamon Roll....(these are all good) and they have a couple others. 150 calories per scoop of protein powder they are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tasty. seriously.

Just take a step back and breathe...I think everyone has had a moment like that-that we can all relate to in some way.... What I have been reminding myself is that change-ANY change does not happen overnight. If you are trying to change your behavior-it takes time...and practice. I think that is one thing that everyone…

YES! I haven't drank a diet soda in about a week and I feel amazing...only drinking iced tea and WOW what a difference. I have to tell you-I have been having some serious cravings lately for food-I grab protein: cottage cheese, string cheese, greek yogurt....or an apple, banana or piece of gum. and actually I'm getting to…
-
1 scoop Lean Dessert (they have different kinds and the varities are super delicious) 1 tablespoon SF FF jello pudding almond or soy milk....or sometimes I blend it with water.

BUMP= wanting a wrap now LOL

no whole foods or trader joes within MANY miles for me :(
-
I know that they have low sodium kinds in the case...and other things. This summer I will be LIVING off sandwiches because I work in the heat-so if anyone has any idea that would be great!
-
Greek yogurt-is THE BOMB. I think in time it will be considered the "Magic Food" LOL. And let me tell you-no brand compares to Chobani in my opinion!
-
When I was realy strict with my diet-I used to eat really well during the week and pretty much let myself have whatever I wanted on the weekend-within reason and I seemed to lose weight pretty well-
-
I'm looking for a way to NATURALLY add nutrients/vitamins/minerals to my diet. I will never eat the recommended servings of fruits & veggies a day...it is just flat out not going to happen for me-I'm realistic here. I take a multivitamin everyday-and have been for the last 8 or 9 months and have not noticed anything.....…

and for those who do juice....recipes that taste halfway decent?
-
I was more like thinking drink 1 or 2 a day....not as meals. Like for breakfast eat oatmeal (hello, fiber) and a juice.... and maybe one around dinner or something... SO my other question is....(since I am trying to lose weight,) do you count the calories of whatever you put in there and add them all together orrrr ???
-
the fruit isn't the problem-but veggies are-I am not a big fan no matter how I make them...
-
"Experts" say it's a faster way to get nutrients to your cells. Some of what they are saying-I can relate too-I have really bad cravings no matter what I eat. I'm considering going off my "light" "sugar free" "Fat free" diet staples....but not sure what to pick instead. Looking for info...ther is so much stuff out there on…

That is what I used to think as well, but my sister is into eating right, weight lifting and got me interested in them. For me they are a quick, easy snack and always had been...I was having a hard time finding ones that I enjoyed the taste of...I finally found some-Lean Dessert is a great brand. They have Whipped Vanilla,…

I still want to eat food I like or I won't be successful...so the veggies and fruits are improvements from.my usual weight loss plan. It's hard to completely change my eating habits.
-
O sister...I've had some of those days myself. You just got to be strong....my trick is eating and apple and drinking water when I'm hungry...no its not all the delicious foods I want, but I don't feel guilty afterward....just give yourself room to make mistakes....on the weekends I usually have water I want -within reason…
