I am also trying carb cycling.. but I haven't cut out grains completely, if I do.. I notice myself binging on it later on. I don't want to be on a certain diet that will only be temporary, this is a lifestyle change for me so I say do what works best for you.. try not to stress about it too much. It's not alwaaays the best…

Great post! I've lost 20 lbs by mainly doing cardio (treadmill, elliptical) the first month and added strength/weight lifting after. I was "skinny fat" at first and once I added in strength/weight workouts I noticed better results!

Eating healthy / at a deficit, plus getting my *kitten* to the gym for a workout 4-5x a week has helped me lose body fat. As for cardio, I love doing HIIT on the treadmill or elliptical. Also love weight lifting.
