Many thanks to you all for the advice and ideas! I can't wait to go shopping this weekend. My wardrobe definitely needs an update.

I actually had to up my cal intake after starting a new workout program (Turbo Fire). Before I was taking in 1300-1400 calories but that left me hungry and tired. I figure since I'm burning more calories (according to my HRM) that I'll eat back some of my exercise calories to bring my deficit down to the 400-500 range.…

Right now I'm only doing Turbo Fire. Personally speaking, I don't feel the need to incorporate other workouts because Turbo Fire is already intense on its own and adding more would just bog me down. But I am planning on doing a hybrid rotation of Chalean Xtreme and TF when I'm done. Today's schedule is Fire 45 & Stretch…

Feel free to add me as well.

Only 48 cals higher than my HRM. Great find! This will be helpful to those who don't own a HRM.
-
Just finished HIIT 25 & Stretch 10. Burned 320 cals in total! I feel like an energizer bunny

Have fun! I know I will when I start my workout. Time flies so quickly when you do TF. You don't have time to think about other stuff, because you're focused on the workout and anticipating the next move. The pacing is ridiculously fast so you have to react quickly in order to get all the choreography down.

I've been losing 2-3 lbs a month. Some weeks I lose up to 0.8 lb, while others I'll lose 0.5 lb or simply nothing. I admit it is slow, but I wouldn't want it any other way. You didn't put on the weight overnight, so don't expect to lose it overnight, either. What happens when you reach your goal? Will you go back to your…

Hey guys! Today I will be doing HIIT 25 & Stretch 10. So excited! Does anyone else like the Core and Sculpting classes? The soreness kicked in the next day. I felt it in my arms, legs and abs.

I'm taking my rest day today, instead of Wednesday. I LOVE Fire 45 & EZ. The HIIT workouts are my second favorite. You get amazing calorie burn in such a short amount of time. I prefer it over the long moderate workouts, which is something I thought would never say. I was scared when I saw the schedule for week 2…

I subtract my bmr cals from my hrm total before logging it. I'm down to the last 12 lbs and I'm trying to be as accurate as I can.
-
I started the program on August 1, but went straight to week 2. The first time I did Fire 45 my movements were completely out of synch from start to finish. I was always 3-5 seconds behind and that infuriated me. I actually didn't even finish the workout (oops), I quit when there was 5 minutes left on the ticker. I'm not a…

I plugged what I ate into CalorieCounter and it estimated a total of 1,000 calories for the whole meal. Not bad at all.
-
Thanks for the advice everyone! I decided that I'll eat my maintenance calories, which is around 1800 (give or take). Not eating the rest of the day would make me a grumpy person.

I'll follow your lead and start taking my measurements. My scale is not a reliable tool because it can't differentiate between water weight and regular body mass. For all I know, I could have lost a pound but it's masked by water retention. Good luck with Turbo Fire! It's such a fun workout that you'll never want to skip a…

Sorry, I don't log my food here (only my exercise). I use caloriecounter. I take in 1400-1500 calories on workout days, sometimes more if I get a high calorie burn that day. I aim for a 400-500 daily deficit through diet and exercise. And yes, I have a hrm (polar) that I use to record my calories burned on CC. I usually…

I think 105 lb is a good weight to aim for, for someone who is 5'1". I wish I was taller so I could eat more food. My daily intake is around 1400-1500. It seems that 120-115 is my body's happy weight, but I want to lose a few vanity pounds.
-
Thanks for all the advice, I really appreciate it. A few of you mentioned measuring oneself to track progress, I don't exactly know how to do that. I've just been relying on my scale to judge fat loss or gain. Where do I start?
-
I know I shouldn't be fixated on the number, but I expected at least a 0.5-0.7 loss from the workouts I've been doing. The soreness kicked in after the second day of starting the program, but it has gone away now.
-
Just noticed that i put the wrong date. The second picture was taken today. Thanks for the response. I'm slightly discouraged that the scale is not showing the effort I put into my workouts.
-
I only weigh myself once a week, sorry for the confusion. Everyday would be too much. I can't comprehend the sudden weight gain. I'm busting my *kitten* off and burning at least 500 cals per workout.
-
I also increased my calorie intake by a few hundred, depending on the amount of calories I burn from my workouts. My TDEE usually hover around the 2k mark, so I just subtract 400-500 cals from it to get my cal intake for the day. I put the wrong date. The second picture was taken today.

Sparkspeople is the same concept as MFP: count calories, exercise and eat wholesome meals.

I take mine weekly :) I think monthly would be better idea, because the changes I see week to week are very subtle. But when I do monthly comparison I can clearly see where the inches have come off. Here's my progress pic as an example: http://usera.imagecave.com/PeachesPie/Weekly%20Pictorial.png.jpg

I cook my oatmeal in Almond Milk (it gives it a nutty taste, which I like). Then I add a banana and one tbsp of peanut butter. Sometimes I like put a fried egg on top. Be adventurous and try different ingredients.
-
Once a week, every Monday morning. Everyday would be overkill, imo.
-
I really hate TOM. One minute I'm happy, the other I'm angry and snap at anyone who says anything that could bother me. I feel totally out of control. Good thing I got my workout in this afternoon.

Thanks for everyone's input! :flowerforyou:

How much are those? Don't want to spend over $25 on a headphone that I'll only use for my workout.

Yes, I weighed it before and it came out 91g. I didn't add any oil so I thought of logging it as raw. I don't know why people are laughing, because the chicken is COOKED!
