Week 1 completed!!! It was really hot here in NY today, but it was ok to run. I actually managed to listen to part of a concert in Prospect Park. And I have to say, there are pretty good looking guys running in the park in the evening. I should wear some make up during my work out :) How do we go about updating the…

Bananas. One of them has about 1/4 of the potassium you need in a day. Potassium is really important if you do sport to help reduce muscle cramps. Also, potassium is one of the chemical that the brain uses to perform synapses within neurons, so you need plenty to keep your brain in good shape. On the other hand, too much…

Wow! 4 hours per day. It must have been so hard at the beginning. How is it working out for you? Do you also manage to have a life? Well, congrats on the big calorie burn.

Checking in. Completed w1d2. My calves are still sore from day 1, and today my butt hurts. I guess it is because I ran uphill. But it is good to get it working. :)

So, I did week 1 day 1. I downloaded a podcast and started running/walking. It didn't go exactly as planned, but at least I was able to work out. First of all I had to bring my 2 girls with me (5 and 7). So, I put them on their bikes and hoped they could keep up. Not much of a plan, though. Of course I had to pay way more…

Wow! That's a great idea. I totally gave up skirts because of my thighs burning like hell. Thanks.

Completer week 1 day 2. It was really hard. Even putting together 3 push ups is a whole workout. Finished the 3 4 2 3 4 series and my arms and pectoral muscles are all sore. I guess it is a good thing. Can't wait to put get to 10 in a set.

I will do the fit test tonight and make that determination. I may have to start there as well. I keep telling myself I was on my knees because I was wore out from the bootcamp.. but deep down I know its really because I am stinking weak!! BUT--- I will be strong in 6 weeks and thats what keeps my focus. :) [/quote] Can't…

Wow, even 3 pushups are really hard. I did day one and proud of it. Since I downloaded the app, I also started 200 squat in 6 weeks and 150 dips. This way I will exercise more parts of the body. I managed to do an impressive 60 squats in the test, so I will start at week 3, column 2. That makes me feel great. On the other…

I'm in the swimsuit challenge this month, but I guess adding some strength would help looking good in that swimsuit. I started at 1 push up and now I can do 5. I don't think I'll get to 100, but 30-40 wouldn't bother me. :) Let see if this works.

I'm in! I started out good exercising 3-4 times a week and now got seriously lazy. The heat doesn't help me get out and run or do anything else. But, I would do anything not to show a pic of me in a swimsuit. ;)

I use fitness evolved for the xbox. I decided to invest in something I can do at home instead of an expensive gym membership that I will never use because I have 2 kids and no babysitter. Anyhow, the personal trainer program is great and the gymmgames make you break a sweat. You can also download new programs and routines.

It is "Onora il padre e la madre." See my previous post. Gosh if we had to study that sentence at Sunday school...
-
Hi there. I'm 100% Italian and the translation you have is correct. That is "Onora il padre e la madre." You can't literally translate it from English, which would make it "Onora tuo padre e tua madre" because that is not correct in Italian. Also, being one of the 10 commandments, it should be quoted as it is, which is…

High Fructose Corn Syrup make it really hard to lose belly fat. One thing I noticed is that if you remove it from your diet, which is really hard because it is everywhere (and you have to read every single label), your belly finally starts shrinking.
