If you enjoy going for epically long runs (all my opinion mind you), then be sure to eat most of the calories back! With regards to the running and weight training - yes it is perfectly fine doing this assuming the eating is in check - many olympic competitors train 7 times a week for hours each day and they have great…

One actual proven yet illegal way to become a *she-hulk* - jump on steroids and you are pretty much there with hard effort in the gym :) Otherwise, no it is virtually impossible!!! Happy training females! :D

I'm in Birmingham - near Selly Oak - go to thegymgroup in town (Bullring)!! :D

I would say for the average joe of your height - the median is probably going to be 170-185 lb depending on build

200 calories can be caught with anything really... if your not into eating - cook something with lots of oil... peanut butter...chocolate...anything will suffice - 200kcal is not hard to hit

20 Here - been for a long while ;p

I would personally drop the cardio time by a lot as HIIT will burn fat and muscle at scary levels - maybe warmup before lifting weights e.g. 5-10 minutes of moderate stair climbing or walking on the treadmill then hit the weights... going 25 minutes of HIIT - I would assume by then your all tired and pretty much exhausted!

Patience like one of the comments says - I've been at it for almost 1 and a half years - give it another 5 years and i'll be sure to say I will have a lean core!
-
bloody hell mate - 1g protein per lb of lean body weight is fairly high for females if you ask me!!! if you ask me I would aim between 0.5-0.8g

If your talking about WEIGHT (notice the difference) loss, then all diets technically work in a certain way - but if you actually want to look lean and *toned* then what you are looking for is FAT loss which by and large no diet works - only diet I know that works for the average individual is watch your calories and…

Keep those calories cut - not too much (between 100-500 calories from your normal BMR) and keep at it - I think that is all the advice that can be given, assuming all your diet is in check initially - it will usually take around two weeks to adjust to the diet - so during this time, you may feel slightly weaker/more tired…
-
Hi Sherie, you are probably experiencing this from several possible factors - I would suggest first you recheck your Basal Metabolic Rate on google to double check what your actual calories burned per day are ---> remember BMR is guidance of calorie burned if you laid in bed all day - so you have to add calories burned for…

Doing abdominal related exercises won't necessarily help you cut down the belly fat but instead make it look even more bloated on the outside since you are packing on muscle in that region meaning more size to it, crucially it means you still need to lower your body fat percentage and hope that your body will target that…

Hello fellow postie... I too am a postman albeit a part time one but with regards to burning 1200 calories...I think that's about right but maybe a bit less (closer to the 1000 mark) I personally say I burn 800 calories per day doing my own round taking between 3-4 hours ... Doing 4 hours of very slow pace walking burns…

For me, at the age of 16 I was on a rowing machine and speaking to a fellow gym member next to me while rowing then next thing you know my hands slip with the handle smashing into the main fan area breaking the chain in the process - i think that was my last time at the gym! ???? For my brother, he ran on a treadmill till…

Annoying thing is if you get the powder all over your hand and by the end of the search you have already accumulated half the tub of powder on your hand xD

IF not optimal for muscle gain but great for weight loss!
-
I have to inform you though that you won't build a lot of muscle if compared to those using free weights/machines and your muscle gains will cap out after prolong calisthenics eg. 6months into it

You can begin heavy lifting right from the get go as long as you have got the form right and in a safe environment ... You don't want to be doing a max bench press with no one around cause if you fail at it, that weight is going one direction! Your eating is only changed slightly in my opinion since you are just burning a…

No such thing as no calorie foods but there are foods that require our body to use more calories to digest the food than the food itself, though the only one that meets this criteria is celery. Regarding gum, usually they have because 5-20 kcal per piece and an hours worth of chewing burns abou that much so I wouldn't…

Well if its bruising because you hit your kneecaps whilst lifting up then that's just a lesson to be learnt - aim to not hit it! But if its just random bruising eg. You didn't externally scrape it, That needs to get looked at by the GP ASAP
