  • Its such a pain to figure out little bites of this and that, so I usually use that as motivation to pick 3-4 things at a party that I know I'll really enjoy and just stick to those. Its easier to figure out 4 things than little bites of 8 things. And I usually end up eating less that way.
  • I love Jazzercise. Its a total body workout and its fun. Most people picture the lame-o Jane Fonda Jazzercise of the 70s, but its totally new and incorporates all sorts of stuff - kickboxing, pilates, yoga, weight training, and aerobics. Its awesome and burns 450 calories per hour!
  • Go to Tools and then pick Basal Metabolic Calculator - it tells you how many calories you burn just to stay alive. Hope that helps!
  • Fantastic! I was also successful at resisting temptation today. I went to Costco and didn't eat a single sample!
  • Maybe it would help to buy just a couple new tops or a pair of jeans - I know you probably don't want to spend a bunch of money b/c you're hoping to lose more, but getting something cute and new and in a smaller size might help you stay motivated!
  • Schaumburg, IL - about 30 minutes northwest of Chicago - this site seems pretty cool, I just joined today. Wish me luck - I just have 7 pounds of pregnancy weight to take off that I just can't seem to shake! If I can get even lower than that, bonus!
