Hell no! I just got back from an 11 day vaca and only weighed myself once (at the grocery store of all places!!) I wish I hadn't. It put a little of a damper on my trip. I won't do that again!!

I haven't done the Zumba for Wii, but I have been doing the Golds Gym Dance workout. That one kicks my butt all the time!! I've been using it for about a month and just today started w/ some of the advance levels. I can tell I wasn't quite ready for a few of those advance ones. Good burn though, so it was worth it.

I agree! I eat wayyyy more veggies when I'm forced to limit my carb intake. I feel like I'm teaching myself how to make healthier food choices by not relying on breads or pastas to fill me up. There's definitely an important lesson to be learned b/c my body is looking and feeling better day by day. I'm wrapping up week 2…

I've always crossed checked my Wii with another scale, literally at least twice a week. I think you could say I'm officially obsessed! I've found the Wii to fluctuate around 1-2 lbs from the other scales, but it's probably due to changes in my body as opposed to the Wii scale itself.

I have shin splints from running barefoot. I find when they act up, if I rest, ice and ibuprofen them and then wear sneakers the next time I run or workout, I'm ok. But since I've developed them, they have not gone away completely. Partly my fault b/c I will still run and work out barefoot.

I started w/ MFP about 10 weeks and have been losing weight pretty steadily, about 10 lbs overall. These last two weeks my weight has varied between 3lbs+ and 3lbs-. It's soooo frustrating. In April, I... Lost 8lbs Worked out 19/30 days Stayed under my 1,200 calorie limit for 21/30 days. Fit into my "skinny" jeans. Have been generally happier. Didn't eat any chocolate. Skipped the "goodies" on the teacher's room table!!

Try shopping at stores that cater to 20-30 somethings, like H&M and Gap, or if you're hitting up the department stores go for brands like Hilfiger, Calvin Klein, and INC (at Macy's) or Vera Wang & Daisy Fuentas (at Kohls). Wow, I never thought to put cocoa powder in my oatmeal or yogurt!! Thanks for the ideas! During the week I love cottage cheese with strawberries and cantelope. My second choice is brown sugar and cinnamon oatmeal with dried cranberries. On the weekends I splurge and eat eggs, bacon or chorico, and fried potatoes!!

I don't have much more to add in terms of whether or not alcohol causes weight gain...I think the answer is "yes" just like everything else we consume, if not burned off...will lead to weight gain.
