I've had some success with Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Shred and Ripped in 30, and I've done Turbofire as well. I liked them all, and you can modify moves in each of them so you are never pushed beyond your current ability. However, that being said I need more variety than the same workout DVD day after day.

I se a FT4, that way I can use whichever running app I feel like at the time....and never be limited to just one that can sync with a specific HRM.

It takes time. I've lost 22 lbs and the biggest difference I notice is in my measurements. When I look in a mirror I don't see the difference but the tape measure says otherwise. Eventually your close will fit differently as well. My biggest problem area is also my belly- but the weight will come off a lot of other area…

YOu've already gotten some excellent advice! Start with small changes, clean up your diet little by little. THen you are more likely to stick to the changes. My shifts are either 7 am- 7 pm or 7 pm-7 am. On days I work I do a 30 min workout like JIllian's 30 day shred or body revolution. Days off I do more. My meals I try to keep similar to if I was working normal hours. So during breaks on my night shifts I try to keep to healthy meals and snacks...chicken wraps, cottage…

Some of my friends like to challenge one another...high calorie burns, a certain length of run. Or days when I feel lazy...if I post that I feel lazy they remind me why I want to lose weight. So...I'd say yes, they help me lose.

My weight never inhibited me, I guess since I knew my husband was still attracted to me. But my sex drive certainly increased when he started lifting heavy again...$#!@ muscles are sexy!!
