Like many posters on MFP lifting goes against all that I've been taught about weight loss. After lurking many lifting boards over the last few days and seeing the FANTASTIC results, I'm going to give it a try. I'll do my best to put the scale away...this will be very hard for me to do as I am a creature of seeing the scale…

I started TF 2 weeks ago and while I feel stronger I have not seen any results yet. I'm not giving up just yet. I'm bumping this because I'm curious about Insanity as well. Welcome back! I have always been up and down myself. Not this time! I decided this time I'm going to make smaller changes and think long term, not the dress that I really want to wear in a month so I better put in crazy long workouts and eat like a toddler. I love the support I am able to give and receive. Good luck!!

Feel free to add me as well (all posters). I find that many people don't like it when people comment on their food choices. I try to be supportive and look for the positive changes my friends are making. Even if that is eating 2 cookies instead of 12. Progress is progress ;)

Yes, sodium will do it everytime. Especially with that much of an increase in such a short amount of time. Looks like you've made a lot of postive changes. Just keep working at it and it will pay off!! Feel free to add me as a friend if you would like more support ;)

I have to agree with the other posters. I know it is scary to eat more, as we've been told to eat less to lose weight, but it really does work. Especially since your working out so much! Try bumping your calories a few hundred and see what happens. If your not losing now, what harm can it do? Best of luck!!
