Hello ladies! I also crawled out of bed early to get in a run before the madness began! It helped me not fall to the temptation of the staff room full of goodies today!!

This app has free on-demand spin classes to download. The app is free right now in the iTunes store. I like it because you can choose what kind of cycling class you want to do and how long. Plus the music is pretty good. http://tech.co/peloton-ipad-app-live-streaming-demand-cycling-classes-2014-07

I'm on my countless attempt to take off and KEEP off about 30-40 lb. I'm also looking to add some new friends ;) I'm a 36 year old mother of 3 (15, 12, 11). I took off 120 lb. a few years ago but keep struggling to keep off the same 30 lb. I know how to do it, it's the sticking to it that seems to be difficult for me. I…

I was that teenager. The best thing my parents did for me was a little tough love. They were always there if I needed them, but reminded me of the choices that I continued to make. It took a little over a year for me to come to my senses and my mother will tell you it was the hardest thing to endure. But I came out of it,…

Agree with Heid13, get your exercise done first thing so you don't have to think about it ;) I'm 34 and am just finishing up my degree in Education. It has been tough to balance family and school but doable. Good luck!!

I usually don't do them on the same day, but if time is the issue I would strength train first, then cardio.
-
First, love your name ;) Second, have you thought about adding in strength training? I have found adding weights to my regular routine is helping me with cardio and increasing my calories burned. Also, what about running? I transitioned from an Arc sometimes elliptical to running. I can burn between 600-800 cal when I run…

Totally relate to this ^^^

This sounds like my routine ;) I'm also training for a half. I do lift 3x a week, run, and try to fit in some of my favorite classes. Listen to your body, if it feels like it's too much, pull back a little. A big no, no (and I'm sure I'll get yelled at) but sometimes I run in the morning and lift in the afternoon. But I'm…

Spin is a fantastic class! It torches calories, they play upbeat music. Yes, there will be some soreness the first couple of classes but it goes away pretty quickly. Have fun!!
