I don't see it on the Induction food list so no but after a month you could move to OWL where you can add things according to the carb ladder (carbquick is round 10). You are keeping the carb cravings going with this stuff.
-
If you had 8 carbs for these crackers, how are you going to get in ample foundation vegetables. I wouldn't eat these on induction which is when you want to get rid of cravings for this type product.

That Endulge coconut bar may be fueling your hunger. They have that effect on some people. We often can't distinguish between true hunger and thirst so I recommend to keep sipping through out the day.
-
You weight has to remain exactly the same for 4 weeks to be on a plateau.
-
It is cheating. It's normal daily activity for you and doesn't raise your heart rate for a sustained period. It's not exercise.
-
Gym machines are notorious for saying way more calories burned than actually are. Get an activity monitor if you want to be accurate. You can't be doing 19 miles and hour for all 85 minutes. You don't get on the bike and instant hit 19 miles an hour.

If you don't do resistance training, your body isn't toned and when you sit down the flab shows.
-
I've lost and maintained over 200 pounds and it was never a contest with anyone. I'm not a child.
-
baby carrots and celery are both crunch and low calorie..Dip in light ranch dressing.
-
I suspect you have more body fat than you think, especially since you aren't doing any resistance training. You can use cans as weights, you can use your own body weight to do resistance.. Resistance bands are less than $10. Not having access to a gym is no excuse.

Exercise is necessary for health no matter what your weight. While losing it is mandatory. You need cardio and at least 2 times a week weight training to maintain lean body mass and lose fat. If you don't, you'll lose muscle along with fat. Your body will not look toned, and you will be able to eat less on maintenance.
-
go to www.atkins.com for all the info you need to do it. It is NOT high protein. Atkins is low carb, moderate protein, high fat.
-
Weight training at least twice a week is absolutely necessary with any diet. If you don't do it, you lose muscle along with fat and that is very unhealthy. You could end up a fat skinny person.
-
Unless you are in a coma the rest of the day, it counts as normal daily activity, not exercise.
-
If you are not doing low-carb high-fat, your input was not asked for. especially when there are hundreds of websites that refute what you posted.
-
Most people who blame Atkins for their health problems didn't follow the program correctly and thought you were supposed to eat tons of protein. Atkins is actually low carb, moderate protein and high fat. There are 4 phases and you start adding carbs after 2 weeks of induction. I've done it for many years will no ill…

Walking at work is not exercise, it is normal daily activity.

And you will gain when you add carbs and count calories. If you body is carb sensitive, you just can't handle them. You will also gain because for every gram of carb stored by your body, it stores an additional 4 grams of water. If you stayed on 20 net carbs the whole time you did low carb, you didn't do it correctly.…

There is an Atkins group here. Click on Groups tab above and join us.

GordonCat you ignorance is showing. The body will die if it doesn't get adequate protein and fat but has no requirement for any carbohydrate. Fat can be burned for fuel and you don't need carbs. Everything you said has been refuted by science.

If you've been doing the same exercise for several months or longer, your body is not burning nearly as many calories as when you started. It has become very efficient at doing it. You also need some resistance training at least twice a week,
-
I have Body Media and you do need an online subscription. It's very cheap. I paid $85 for 2 years so less than $1 a week. It's been a tremendous help.

The keys to maintenance, according to the National Weight Loss Registry, are to keep journaling every BLT, continue to eat the way you did when you were losing but increase the portions slightly, as soon as you gain 2 pounds, go back to your weight loss phase, and finally exercise every day for a minimum of 30 minutes to…

First of all, you aren't on a plateau. Your weight has to stay exactly the same for at least 4 weeks for that to happen. You are already at a healthy weight for a person 5'6" and your body may not cooperate the way you want it to. Google resistance training and add that to your Zumba. You can lose weight doing cardio but…

Veggies are very low carb for non-starchy ones. You can eat several cups a day and not be over 30 carbs. I suggest you take a look at www.atkins.com for their low carb food lists. It's high fat so don't look at the meats and fats! Berries are also low carb and very tasty. Instead of thinking of eating a whole apple, eat…

The only 0 calorie food is water.

You won't be getting adequate protein and fat from fruit. Fruit is also high in calories for the most part. If you continue to eat the way you have in the past, you will continue to have weight problems. You need to try different vegetables and different ways of preparing them. You might not like it raw, but cooked is…

It matters a great deal if you want to be healthy.

Unless you lie in bed all day on the other days, no you can't log in your normal daily walking steps. Of you could and then you'd be back complaining you aren't losing because you ate them back. Exercise raises your heart beat for a prolonged period.
