Only steps over your normal activity are exercise. Exercise raises your heart rate for a minimum of 10 minutes. When I go for a walk I set my activity tracker.

You do not count exercise when determining daily activity. NOT calculates exercise calories and show the calorie adjustment.

Active calories means 50% increase in resting heart rate for 15 minutes or more. Normal daily activity is not exercise. Your body has adapted to it and actually burns fewer calories.

It is very accurate. The recommendation is only eat back half hour exercise calories.

Losing weight without a exercise means you lose muscle along with fat and end up having too much internal fat. We have a paraplegic lady who comes to yoga and does a lot to put sedentary people to shame. Walk a short distance most days. Add a few steps every day. You will preserve muscle better.

Fitbit always have me steps while I slept and small foot movements. Garmin is more accurate. Podiatrist had me get Brooks Ariel. Best shoes I ever had.

Serving sizes on boxes are misleading. Nutritionist know 1/2 cup of unsweetened cereal equals a carb serving. Most cereals have you eating too much.

There is a book called Volumetrics that is a diet for volume readers. I used it years ago. You can get it used on Amazon or ThriftBooks.

Mostly Water is right. Food is fuel and that is all it should be used for. Psychiatrist will tell you that. Sit down and make a list of other things to do that don't involve food.
