It sounds like you have an eating disorder. See a counselor or you doctor.

Body Fat scals are not accurate. The only way to tell is to get weighed under water. Have you been lifting weights? That's the only way you'd gain muscle.
-
You have made it a habit to eat tons of sugar in the morning so of course you will crave it. 800 calories of junki for breakfast doesn't leave enough for healthy nutrition the rest of the day. The body requires NO sugar.
-
Most people will have to continue tracking as long as they want to keep the weight off. It's just like having to take medication every day. As soon as they quit the weight starts creeping up. Just look at all the people on here who have lost weight and are back to lose it again and again.
-
Unfortunately not usable with a low carb, high protein diet. At least make it a healthy flour like almond, flax, coconut.
-
You should be calling your doctor's office with questions like this. These people show they are well intentioned but know nothing about nutrition after gastric bypass. You knew before surgery you were going to have to do protein shakes so keep on drinking.
-
Your diary shows too many processed foods, not enough real foods like fruits, vegetables and lean meat, whole grains and dairy. The more simple carbs you eat the more tired you will feel. They cause a crash after an hour or so.
-
Its time to grow up and eat like an adult. Little children are picky eaters. Adults do it to get attention.
-
Moderate at best. You need to do what the others advised as far as eating more. What kind of cardio do you do?
-
I think if you have maintained the loss for 5 years, insurance should cover it. If you can't, than it's a waste of the insurance money. I lost over 200 pounds back in the seventies. I've never been able to afford surgery so I just dress to cover it.
-
You never should have dieted in the first place - if you want to be successful you concentrate on making permanent exercise and food choice changes and weight loss will follow. Maintenance means you can eat slightly larger portions of healthy foods but you can't add junk or you will gain weight and you also can't stop…

I looked at your diary and I see a lot of unhealthy foods - fried, loaded, simple carbs. Clean up that. Cook at home or opt for qrilled meat and plain vegetables and salads. You need more protein if you want to gain muscle.

Forgot to add I wear a Body Media Core all day, except when I am showering or doing water aerobics. That's how I know the calories for pilates and yoga are low. Most people overestimate their exercise calories.
-
Yoga and Pilates do not burn very many calories. They are for stretching and flexibility. I do both. Everything you are doing is cardio and you need to add strength training twice a week to preserve lean body mass. Cardio can't do that. You also eat back your exercise calories. When you enter them on the summary for your…

75% of the population are carb sensitive and still pack in the carbs and wonder why they have weight problems and can't maintain. I do medically supervised weight loss and aim for no more than 50 g carbs and at least 100 g protein a day and keep it at 1000 calories. I have actually gained over 4 pounds of lean body mass…
-
Ye it does, if it takes longer you aren't working out as hard so you are not burning as many calories. Burning 200 calories in 12 minutes on a tread mill is a fantasy. Be realistic in your calculations. Machines are notoriously wrong.

The government is in the food manufacturer's pocket and that is why the high recommendation for carbs. It is a fact that the body requires no carbs. No one has ever been diagnosed with health problems due to carb deficiency. Most of us would be a lot healthier if we cut out the processed foods and stuck with the perimeter…
-
Your goal is to low for your height. Eat more and quit trying to lose.
-
I keep my carbs 50-60. Any more than that and I don't feel well and become very bloated. This poster doesn't seem to be for real - just trying to get us stirred up. Things she says in other posts doin't correlate to what she is saying now.
-
You won't gain muscle eating protein unless you are doing strength training. I have at least 125 grams a day of protein because that's what the doctor recommends.
-
Watch your carb intake. My belly finally got a lot smaller when I cut out processed carbs in favor of fruits and vegetables.
-
Exercise has to raise your heart level for a sustained period. Walking around shopping is not exercise.
-
You are the one who makes the choices that will support your desire to lose weight or not. You cannot expect anyone else to change the way they eat if they don't want to. You just have to say no to their choices.
-
Are you doing strength training? How tight were your clothes when you started to lose weight?
-
If you make your food diary public we would be able to help you. I've never experienced this. It could be the foods you added to get the extra calories. Protein and fat keep you satisfied the longest and carbs leave you wanting to eat again in an hour or two.
-
Your reasoning is wrong. You lose mostly fat and little muscle when you are eating an adequate number of calories of good food. I'm a low carber and I've actually gained 4+ pounds of muscle while losing 23 pounds. My body fat has gone down considerably. If you lose 25-30% of your muscle mass you are going to be in dire…

Forgot to add it's about $16 at Walmart for a huge container.
-
I use Pure Protein. 25 grams of protein and 3-4 carbs depending on flavor. I especially like the Frosty Chocolate and the Vanilla. It's my breakfast every day and I don't add anything to it.
-
Go to MyPlate.gov if you aren't sure what a healthy diet for you and your children looks like. It will help immensely. I see too many fried, prepackaged and unhealthy foods and no dairy, fruit and vegetables. I know people like to think it doesn't matter what you eat just so you stay in your macros, but it does if you want…

You have to be the same weight for 6 weeks to be on a plateau. Need more exercise and weights if you want to keep your lean body mass.
