Actually peanuts belong to the legume (bean) family, they aren't a nut at all. Almonds are a tree nut and better for you.

Greek yogurt, berries and a few nuts would be a healthier choice with a lot less sugar. Granola is not a good choice for weight loss unless you only use 1-2 T.

When you have been the exact same weight for 4 weeks, you can say you are on a plateau. You could change up your exercise and eat more protein and fewer carbs and see if that helps.

Unless you are under a doctor's car with regular blood work, you should not be eating less than 1200 calories a day or you won't get adequate nutrition. To be at 900 is not good!

You need 1200 calories minimum to get adequate nutrition. Are you using light, reduced fat, fat free type products? Use the real thing. What are you eating in a typical day?

Never heard of a problem like that. I because carbs cause your body to store 4 grams of water for every gram of carb, you might be very bloated and your skin is stretched taut so when you tough it it hurts.

When you are on a plateau, you need to change your exercise because your body becomes very efficient and burns fewer calories when you do the same thing all the time. Add strength training 2-3 times a week. Shake up what you are eating. Eat fewer carbs and more protein.

I had mine removed way back in the olden days of 1977. I still cannot much fat or I have bathroom issues. I had morning sickness for a full year after it was removed. The doc said some people just react like that.

Ayalowich, you only eat very low carb on Atkins for 2 weeks if you do it properly and then you start adding 5 grams of carbs a week until you find the amount that gives a healthy 1-2 pound a week weight loss. You add in fruits and grains. Atkins is a 4 step process. You need to be informed before commenting on Atkins.

You do not have to be high fat for low carb. Fat has nothing to do with energy. Your body burns glycogen for energy and that is converted from the foods you eat and stored in your cells. I do low carb and lower fat (less than 40 grams a day) and it works just fine and I have tons of energy.
