I don't know if a vegetarian can successfully do Atkins. It's difficult for you to get in enough protein without taking in to many carbs. You do now the first 2 weeks is 20 net carbs per day with 12-15 of them coming from veggies.

If you are strength training, you need protein within 30 minutes of finishing your exercise to help repair the muscles. If it's cardio, you don't need to eat.

It's highly unlikely there were ever exactly the same size. No one's body is symmetrical. Take a full length picture of yourself, make a mirror image, cut them in half and paste them back together - 2 different bodies will be looking back, no identical.

Your sister has no part in you losing weight. We need to make the choices that support our goals. Other people should not have to do without because you are trying to lose weight. My dh was very thin and snacked all the time. I never told him he couldn't bring it in the house. I learned to say no.

FitBit was far from accurate for me. I changed to Body Media and now I'm doing better. Does your HRM have the chest strap? Otherwise it is also questionable. j

Losing weight without exercising causes you to lose lean body mass (muscle) along with the fat. Your body will not look toned, it will be flabby from the muscle loss. You need to do both cardio and strength training. A mile walking burs about 100 calories, not enough to aid in weight loss.

Bicycling and jogging are good for cardio but you need to add 2-3 sessions of strength training with it.

Only restaurants with more than 20 locations have to have nutrition info available. Why not look it up on line before you go and then if they don't have the nuts you can find a similar item and go from there.

Take a look at Body Media. I switched from FitBit to Body Media and it is so much more accurate. FitBit is a glorified pedometer.

As I see it, you are eating no fruits and vegetables and which means you are lacking in nutrition. And those capsules you are taking have not been proved to aid in weight loss by the FDA.They are a waste of money. You need to set reasonable goals and eat better to preserve your lean muscle mass and lose fat.

No one should be eating less than 1200 calories a day unless they are medically supervised in their weight loss. It takes that many calories to get adequate nutrition.

And where is the science to support that we need 150g of carbs per day for the brain to function? That's a lot of bs. I take in no more than 50 net carbs a day and my brain works just fine and the weight is coming off. Your diet is too heavy in carbs.

I've been hypothyroid for many years. A high protein low carb approach works best for me. I have at least 100 grams of protein a day, including a whey shake for breakfast, and keep my net carbs to less than 50. Your can enter it as a recipe on this site. You are going to have to come up with how much the recipe makes because there is no way of knowing how much a cup is if you don't know how many cups you made.

I use Body Media Core and link it here. I want that calorie deficiet and I don't eat back all my exercise calories because I exercise to lose more weight. I stay within my MFP recommendations, not net calories.

The American Heart Association says a healthy person can eat whole eggs so there is no reason not to. The have found the cholesterol in eggs is different from that from other sources and it isn't bad for you. I hate egg whites and Eggbeaters and opt for a real Eggland's best egg instead.
